“Love this family owned business. No frills. Friendly employees . Their donuts are always consistent , especially the their apple fritters! Hella Apples! No one makes them like they do . Not Rainbow, Happy, Andy's, Neighbors. Btw toast your old donuts . You won't be disappointed“
“Nostalgia rating 10++, with vintage orange diner tables and self-service drip coffee at this family-run shop. Love the fresh maple bars and glazed old fashioned donuts, all baked in-house, as well as the burgers made to order. Going here is like getting a dose of sugar-coated sunshine from a childhood Saturday morning.“
“Great customer service! I like the different options of donut flavors such as horchata, pistachio, and ube. Wish they had more vegan or even gluten free options. If they offered mochi donuts (rice is gluten free/friendly) that would make this place a one stop shop.“
“Fresh, flavorful donuts. Hot coffee. Lunch sandwiches. I am so glad I made my way in for treat. I like that they take Apple Pay because I just don't carry cash Picked up a classic old fashioned and chocolate sprinkle raised donut for my kid. Service was efficient and the ambiance is very casual and relaxed. No frills. Clean, inviting.“
“Last night, my daughter and my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a really nice dessert after dinner we decided to go again to happy donut. We have our faves there. I decided to treat everyone and my choice was I have to say that they make the best apple fritter anywhere and having a cuppa coffee in the morning may sound like a bit of a sugar overload but it's my happy place . we didn't stop there. I also bought regular donuts bars and cream puffs and you just get started. You can't stop.. It's locally owned and operated and the quality always seems to be there and they seem to be sold out if you go there too late of all the faves that everyone likes so it's a pretty popular place for people to show up . Fortunately we got everything we wanted and we're very happy.“
“The man behind the counter has such a fantastic attitude and personality- thank you. AND both the regular coffee and creative coffee drinks are great. I was surprised by how good the vegan donuts are too. At first I was disappointed that there weren’t other types of pastries to try, but these are really yummy!Vegetarian options: All vegan!“
“I love this little mom and pop donut shop in Oakland. The service is great, I call in my order before I pick up. They sell lotto tickets and the atmosphere seems to be local people that knows the cashier. It's definitely my favorite place to buy donuts in Oakland!“
“I love donuts! This place not only has the variety of flavors but the customer service is excellent. Very friendly couple helped me with my order. I got the maple bacon donuts, twists, and donut holes. I found out about them through the Too Good To Go app. I'm so happy I did cuz now I have a new favorite spot. Very happy tummy!“
“when i want to pick up a box of donuts for work i always come to lee's donuts, the donuts are delicious and fresh and the prices are great. it hasn't ever been too busy when i get there (~630am) so i'm in and out in 5 minutes. i especially love their old fashioned cake donuts :)“
“August 29, 2023Lee's Donuts, a restaurant, contained great breakfast and lunch food to consume on August 28, 2023. Yet, the only reason I tried their food through a decent CUSTOMER SERVICE centered on it was in the very vicinity to require my attendance. That was the only reason for my consumer contribution. Great sandwich and thanks!Thank you,Marcus Pea“
“They have a lot of stuff in the lobby. The Apple fritter was okay and good on some parts but it was burnt. I’ll give them another try.Update: I ordered more donuts and some were better than others. I prefer going to my local donut shop. However, when I’m in the area I wouldn’t mind stopping from time to time to grab a few donuts.“
“Ordered from DoorDash and had them delivered for a sleepover. Excellent donuts - nice crisp. Very well designed and packaged. Only criticism is that the One Dozen Specialty Mix was more of a normal mix. The specially designed mix was fabulous and a real show stealer!“
“Love the rotating ice cream flavors, interesting flavor choices and all were tasty. We tried the ginger, marzipan, red bean, and pumpkin. The marzipan and ginger were especially flavorful. We got the ice cream sandwiches, the bread is very similar to a doughnut. The ratio of ice cream to bread is perfect, although it tastes best when eaten right away and the bread is still a little warm. Not a negative but just something to note - the sandwiches are pretty messy to eat, so grab napkins!“
“The best breakfast croissants, coffee is always ready, and all donuts always available. Best part is that they stay open later than most donut shops in the area. You can also play the lottery here.Really great owners, very kind and friendly!“
“Andy,s has a really nice selection of donuts, I like the fact they're open kind of late and they are making fresh donuts through the night. Service is good pretty slow during the night cause I fuse they're busy making new batches, nice clean and direct in the shop, im and out. They offer more options on the menu like breakfast sandwiches, can't wait to try. Check em out!“
“I was about to drive all the way to Berkeley to get a Korean corn dog and saw that this place was closer to home. Figured let's check it out and saw that it was the same one as Berkeley. Yay ordered a half and half original and three donuts. My son ordered a half and half hot Cheetos and we were so quiet while eating our corn dogs because damn it was hella good! The cheese was melty and was strong with each bite and the outside was nice and crunchy. The hot dog was ok, I preferred the cheese more. The donuts were mochi and perfectly yummy! Just a note- they don't serve corn dogs after 7:30pm.“
“Let's take a moment to give a shout out to the old school local donut shop. I've been going here for (yikes) over 25 years and the quality is both high and bang on consistent. Donuts are like Coca Cola: Long since perfected and any changes to the formula just make them worse (I'm looking at you, Krispy Kreme). You want a donut? No, seriously, do you want a f*cking donut? They have the donut you want and the donut you deserve before or after a long day.“
“Its a small shop, and i was amazed there are a lot of people going to this place. I was curious, so i tried it. Their donuts were good, and very affordable, the sprinkled one go for 1.50 for the small ones and 1.75 for the big ones. Not so bad. I also ordered their blended coffee with whipped cream, not bad..?Customer service was great, the couple were nice..service was fast too.?“
“I had the do it! I couldn't discover that I was as parked in front of one of my favorite doughnut shops and not go in. 1 glaze in, $1.95 out! Now, it's not the tom of day for hot doughnuts but it was still good. The space was clean. The staff was chatty amongst themselves. It was a fair exchange.“
“I've stopped by here a few times and it's been an interesting experience. I've only got breakfast food so I can't speak on the other options but overall it is a good establishment with good pricing. There aren't many options at a similar price point in the area but the food I did get wasn't the best quality but it wasn't terrible. It did mess my stomach up a bit but was worth it.“
“In addition to nice fresh donuts they also have a wonderful lunch steam table with chicken, chicken strips, fried fish, steamed vegetables, fried rice, chow mein and a few other items at very reasonable prices. I usually get the fish plate with vegetables or chicken and chow mein. You'll have to go early though as they sell out frequently throughout the day. They also have a nice assortment of bottled drinks.Parking: Parking is a little tricky because it's a tiny lot but be patient as cars are frequently pulling in and out and you'll be able to find a spot in a matter of minutes.“
“I was in the neighborhood in need of some coffee and came across States Coffee. Very small shop that's offers pastries and your basic go-to coffees and teas.I tried their cold brew which was not too strong or bitter and it gave me the boost I needed for the day.The service is very friendly! Would recommend for a quick grab and go coffee.“
“When my Berkeley-native friend suggested vegan donuts for dessert, I was honestly pretty hesitant. He swore they tasted amazing and convinced me to try them. My group of 9 popped in to Donut Farm on Saturday afternoon around 20 minutes before closing. There were plenty of metered street parking spots close to the shop. The interior is simple and no fuss. The employee was not exactly bubbly, but answered the questions we had. All of the donuts I tried were REALLY good! ($3-$3.50 each). Would never have been able to tell they were vegan. ----- FLAVORS ----- * Philz coffee - My least favorite due to lack of strong coffee flavor, but still tasty. * Lavender earl grey - My favorite. The taste was well-balanced. You could taste the floral tea notes, but it was not overwhelming. * Matcha - This was an instant order for me. If matcha's on the menu, I always get it. This donut did not disappoint. * Chocolate cookie donut - My partner's favorite because he loves chocolate. It wasn't overpoweringly rich. * Orange creamsicle - Really light subtle flavor. * Blueberry - Tasty, but not the most memorable of the bunch. Donut Farm is definitely worth it and I look forward to coming back.“
“I have only visited here about 3 times. I always get a donut, or two. They are fresh and usually earlier mornings they have a lot of customers. It is popular. The service is good and the staff are friendly and acknowledge you when you walk in the door.“
