The food was absolutely delicious, they took care of *everything* in the venue, and they were truly a joy to work with. Cecy was very responsive, professional, and patient with our many questions and requests. During the reception, the staff was wonderful with the passed appetizers and the bar, and the servers took care of us (bride and groom) with special attention. At the end of the evening, once our guests were done with the bar, the bartender even came out on the dance floor to teach us a line dance. :-) Jen is a treasure: her professionalism is suffused with genuine warmth, and we felt well taken care of from the very beginning of the process. “Love them. I take my morning walk on my days off usually Sunday mornings. Super cozy, hole in the wall, and I order my usual waffle fanatic, with eggs and bacon. I think family owned. Can get busy at times but these folks bust their booties to get everyone in and fed and on their merry way so don't forget to tip them fat ! Have a blessed one . “Very small coffee and breakfast spot. Family run. I have. Soft spot for these kinds of places. Food felt like home cooked and made with care. Very tasty. Try the iced Vietnamese coffee. Parking is hit or miss. One or two tables in the dining room, so go with takeout or wait your turn.“

“Got breakfast here everyday I stayed in SF — if you get there right after 8:30 AM that’s when they start bringing out the fresh pastries. Get the egg tart and coconut bun. Coconut bun is out of this world and the egg tart is super flaky and buttery. Getting there early is a must because the bakery items are still warm!“

“The donuts here are out of this world good. Especially the apple fritters, cinnamon buns, and crumb cake donut. And the coffee is really good too. Not too strong and bitter. Just right.

There are tons of other breakfast and lunch offerings from the grill but when they have the best donuts in SF, and quite possibly the world, why try anything else. I have lived in 16 countries on 3 continents, and travelled to dozens more, and the donuts here are by far the best I have ever had.

The place is a hot spot for breakfast and lunch but as the staff is so efficient and helpful you never have to wait long.

I gave the atmosphere a 5 star because if you come to a traditional, old style, American artisan donut emporium and expect something other than basic accoutrements, you’re in the wrong place. The place is not chi-chi or frou-frou, but it is down home, comfortable and clean.“

“First off this has been at this location for years and it’s definitely time for some of the booth back cushions to be replaced. I went here for breakfast on 11/2/24 and our waitress Carla was absolutely awesome. I think the location was short staffed and I have to admit Carla was working her butt off providing great service to all the patrons she was assigned all over the whole restaurant. She stayed smiling and was still attentive to us and that’s really cool and she was in costume. The food was really good and came out pretty fast due to the place having lots of folks. Only thing you gotta watch out for is the pricing on the Build Your Own Omelette. Each thing you add is 3.00 on top of the 15.00 omelette price and at most other Iphop it’s only 1.29 for each ingredient added.“

“We stopped by IHOP while visiting San Francisco and decided to try it after seeing several YouTube videos about the restaurant. Since it’s located in a popular tourist area, we expected long wait times, but were pleasantly surprised.

The restaurant is much larger inside than it looks from the outside, with plenty of seating available. They also offer online ordering and pickup, which is convenient if you’re in a hurry.

We ordered the crepes, and they were delicious. The portions are very generous — one serving is enough to keep you full for quite a while. Be prepared: it’s definitely a hearty, calorie-packed breakfast!

Overall, we enjoyed the experience and would recommend IHOP for breakfast, especially if you’re looking for a filling meal before a day of sightseeing.“
