Café of the Bay Reviews
Food is pretty good and prices are decent. Would definitely only dine-in based off other reviews. Good service doesn't matter much to me if the food is good, and it's decent for the price.
The food went down hill. I think they're new owners and they don't know to place orders or get the food right
On a recent trip to Oakland I had breakfast here twice. The food was very good as was the service. Prices were reasonable. I had the corned beef hash and eggs and then an omelet made to order. Both with the home potatoes. These meals were prepared well and quite filling. The coffee was excellent. The dining room was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Will dine here again on future trips.

Café of the Bay is a family-friendly spot with good pricing and generous portions. The restaurant is clean and offers take-out options through Uber Eats. While service can be casual, the staff is friendly. The menu boasts delicious food, including pancakes and lattes. Parking is available in a large lot, accommodating large groups. Although the ambiance may be lacking, the affordable prices and convenient location make it a great option in the Laurel area.
