“This wonderful place is my other office. It's cute and cozy, has strong wifi, the staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. It's not cheap, but they use lots of fresh, healthy ingredients and it's beautifully presented. I've recently had the winter lentil salad, the French grilled cheese, and the tomato bisque. Yum.“
“Nature is a wonderful vegetarian/vegan restaurant in downtown Oakland California. We have been a fan for several years. After closing indoor dining during pandemic, they are back open for indoor dining. They have always had the carry out option. We visited yesterday and had a great dining experience. We had ordered hot and sour soup, sesame chicken, spicy eggplant, chicken chow mein and spicy Thai fried rice in a clay pot. All dishes were excellent. The standouts were the sesame chicken and the soup. A friendly staff and a welcoming ambiance. Glad they are open again for indoor dining as we will be back more often in person than carrying out.“

The Doro Wot, a traditional chicken stew with its rich and spicy sauce, was a standout, perfectly showcasing the bold flavors of Ethiopian cuisine. The Alicha Yeb'ge, a mild lamb stew, offered a delightful contrast with its aromatic blend of spices. And the Beef Bamia, with its tender beef simmered alongside okra and tomatoes, was a savory delight.The only hiccup was the slow service during lunchtime. We were the only ones eating inside, and it took a while for the server to bring water and menus. Plus, we waited another 30 minutes for our food. They could work on being quicker and more attentive.But despite that, Blue Nile is a great spot to explore Ethiopian flavors.“
“We have been to Millennium several times and have never been disappointed. Their 4 course fixed price meals on Friday and Saturday are incredible. You have a large selection of each course. At $70 per head this is expensive but it is well worth it! It is important to make reservations. They also have a pizza night on Mondays and we celebrated a going away party their for the Rancho Compasion Sanctuary manager that was wonderful!“
“I have several favorites here but you have to do the mushu wraps as an app! The food is always great!The only downside is that the timing for food to be ready can vary wildly (10-20 mins from the expected time) each time I go to pick up. But the food is always fresh and warm.“
“It's sad that the atmosphere is so important. This is a no frills sort of place. The bathrooms are super clean ( with really pretty tile) the kitchen is spotless, and the food is spot on. I had the mole plate, my husband had a burrito, and we shared the fried fish taco. All were delicious. The mole especially was very good. Full of flavor and not sweet! Go for the food and nice people!Vegetarian options: I saw a few veggie options and there was a vegan flan.Kid-friendliness: No frills place. They have kids menus and the people there were very welcoming to those who had kids with them.“
