I love well executed tasting menu restaurants, especially around this price point (the weekday price is great value, the weekend price is okay), and Mago does a great job executing it. I love that they have a walk in bar seating option with limited ala carte menu and even last minute tasting menu if available. The service was adequate and perfunctory, which is fine with me, I'm not trying to become best friends with the server.
