“We had shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, wedge salad, 20 oz ribeye with a baked potato, and a banoffee tart for dessert. We split each course and the waitstaff had the chef plate it all separately for us which made sharing easier.“

“Tasting menu was tailored for the 4 vegetarians/pescatarians out of 5 in our group. Each item was very tasty and we enjoyed to the last bite. Servers were very professional and knew their stuff. Since we were there for our anniversary, we received a card from them which basically thanked us for making them part of our celebration. Classy touch!“

“Some of the top dishes were the small delicacies goose barnacles (more because of their rarity; the taste was a bit chewy but still interesting), bread, and soft shell crab; pheasant; charcoal-grilled black pork; double-boiled quail soup; and almond feather cake. Really nice pairings. Exquisitely timed service. Some of my less favorite dishes included the caviar-stuffed tomato small delicacy (more just because I'm not always a tomato fan), abalone (again, not necessarily due to its quality, but I'm not a fan of its chewy firm texture), quail (maybe I was full by the time of this dish, but I just didn't find it all that seasoned or appetizing except the soup version). I don't understand the extreme minimalist decor/ambiance. Certainly it forces a focus on the food, but it seems like the decor could be a bit more elegant and matched to the cuisine. Overall, I had to give it a 5/5 due to the service and unique tastings! Thank you Benu!“

“I’ve been coming here for years to meet w/family & friends to celebrate or anytime just because or to unwind in the comfy lounge & experience MKT Bar’s excellent service you find in a Four Seasons & the drinks are simply the best! Today was my daughter’s boyfriend’s 1st time here & he understood 💯 why we love MKT Bar & he is an awesome bartender!“

“Such a great restaurant! The sashimi and nigiri were especially good. You can really tell the fish is fresh and high quality. The ramen was really good too, and we also loved the agedashi tofu. Service was lovely as well. Definitely a place I’d come back to!“

“We went on Valentine's Day, service and food were great. You have a 15 minute grace period for your reservation time. I witnessed a few people exceeding that time and were told they could not be accommodated but were welcome to find a seat at the bar. So make sure to plan parking ahead!“

“We have been to many restaurants similar to Commis but this one is absolutely amazing! The staff was spectacular! We especially loved our Sommelier, Andrew and Darren in the staff. Tomo was also great! They are so knowledgeable and added to the whole experience of the great food & wine
