An’s Canteen Reviews
Delicious Jianbing and gracious service. You can order it with or without meat. We cross the bay for it as often as possible. I tried the soy milk, which is served hot, and liked it. Easy walk from Bart.
I miss the old menu (tianjin crepe forever), but the jianbing was delicious! I love the middle crispy cracker as it adds texture to it. Very flavorful! Highly recommend!
I real hole in the wall. No big sign so you have to know.
The best jianbing I've had outside of China. Crispy and not too salty. My wife said it's authentic Tianjin style.
The soy milk was amazing! Very smooth and slightly sweet even though it wasn't sweetened. No burnt taste.
Alas, he was out of tea eggs.
Friendly.

An's Canteen is a revitalized eatery that has been delighting customers for years. This popular spot serves traditional Chinese dishes, including the beloved Jian Bing, which is expertly made with precision. Other menu highlights include the wonton soup, a perfect comfort food for chilly days, and Tianjin, a new addition to the menu. The staff provides great service, and the food is freshly made, although this may result in a short wait. While prices may be a bit high, the delicious taste and quality ingredients make it well worth the visit.
