MENSHO Reviews
Tried Mensho for the first time after seeing so many great reviews, and honestly, the reviews were not wrong! The food was amazing and definitely lived up to the hype. The place was fully packed, but the atmosphere was still chill and the service was really good. Great food, great vibe, and a really enjoyable experience. Definitely worth trying!
I had the Garlic Ramen. The mixture of flavors and ingredients was so delicious! Ramen noodles were a great texture and tasted amazing. Unlike any Ramen I've ever had. A must try.
Food was absolutely great! The service was good, and while the space is small and can get a little crowded and noisy, that could be a good thing depending on your vibe :) Definitely will be back!

MENSHO in the Bay Area offers some of the best ramen, particularly the chicken broth and signature smoked toripaitan, which stand out for their unique and delicious flavors. While the food quality is consistently praised, service experiences can vary. The exceptional ramen and other dishes like the tuna hand roll make MENSHO a popular choice, especially during peak hours when wait times can be long. The restaurant also offers a separate vegan menu with several delicious options, including the vegan "fried chicken" oyster mushrooms. The casual and spacious Oakland location is easy to find, with attentive and fast service. Customers have enjoyed the flavorful broth, bouncy noodles, and well-balanced dishes like the Spicy Lamb Miso Cumin. Despite occasional noise and wait times, MENSHO is considered the "real deal" and worth the visit for its hearty and satisfying ramen.
