Jim's is an established diner that's been around forever and is most often full. It's quality diner food with exceptional breakfast standards and some surprises. The food is great, the wait staff is friendly and efficient, the restaurant is clean, the decor is nothing fancy but you're going to Jim's for high end atmosphere. You're going for the food and the conversation with your party. The open kitchen is great .
Went at a later time for breakfast, the place was clean and attended very quickly. I enjoyed the food being warm when served, I can very much say the milkshakes are great,but a tad bit more expensive than I thought. Still would recommend for a breakfast date :)

Ordered a chocolate shake with the whip cream no chocolate sauce. Got chocolate sauce. Ordered a patty melt medium rare with red onions instead of white . Was served raw onions instead of grilled and hamburger was not medium rare. The waitress should check the orders at pick up and delivery of service . And if this is the cook choosing to do it his way . Well it cost the waitress a percentage of her tip! I am sure you will hear about it.
