Food was great and decent portions.
I will drive 40 minutes both ways just for their eggplant tofu. The wonton soup is also exquisite. And you cannot imagine nicer people.
I could definitely say Gim’s is my favorite to-go restaurant in the whole of Bay Area and that says a lot!! Everything is really good but my favorite is the sweet & sour pork over rice. Lunch menu is cheaper so it’s better to order around that time. Now they have knick-knacks on the side available to purchase. Definitely will keep coming back to this hidden gem in Alameda! 😋👍🏼
