Jim's Diner offers a consistently enjoyable experience with great food, excellent service, and the ultimate diner ambience. The California scramble, California Benedict, and corned beef hash were all delicious, accompanied by decent house coffee. Service was attentive, and our order arrived accurately within 15 minutes. For those craving a classic diner experience, Jim's is the place to be.

Great food. Very large portions, delicious to eat, pretty presentation. I know food doesn't have to be pretty, but it makes me happy when it is. Place was almost empty on a Monday morning, but we got there right as they opened. I will definitely go to this place again.

Cool place! I had chili fries and a sandwich and it was so good. The serving of chili fries is huge and the chili is delicious. Also, the servers are really nice! I usually expect servers and other staff to be sort of neutral but polite. I would give this place a sixth star for just how nice the staff is. They all just seemed genuinely happy and kind, no hint of impatience or anything. And it was the end of the open hours when I went (around 2:30) so the staff could have easily been more focused on cleaning up at the end of their shift. I'm definitely going again to try more things!

Best breakfast spot in alameda hands down. Now that Shang Tao and Pamela Price have killed businesses being able to operate on Haggenberger Road (Dennys, Black Bear, In and Out, Raising Canes), this is by far the best find I’ve encountered near Oakland International Airport. There’s a massive parking lot in the back along with a rear entrance door. It’s clear the servers and manager enjoys working here and takes pride in their work. The food was really legit and the price to value off the charts. Everything about this spot is ‘stuck in time’ in the best possible way. Highly recommended you stop by if you’re needing to load up on calories early on in your day. Cheers! Will def be backs

Came here on Lincoln birthday holiday with my work manager and team for breakfast before the start of our MUDA Day. I ordered the chicken apple sausages with 3 sunny side eggs (with whites completely cooked) and a side of grits and sourdough toast. The sunny side up eggs were perfect, and the chicken apple sausages (2) were pretty large, which was nice! The grits weren't seasoned, but I'm assuming they weren't, so that they can be seasoned by the customers' preference at the table. I prefer my grits to be savory, so I did my best to load it up with butter salt & pepper, but still came out tasting alright.... Overall, the meal wasn't bad, and the staff was cool/polite, and the serve was great! I would definitely go back. They have a pretty good-looking menu with lots of options!!Vegetarian options: If coming for breakfast: Plenty of egg scrambles and omelets, pancakes/ waffles/French toast, and potatoe sides (hash browns or country style potatoes). Toast, grits, and fruit options.

Good comfort food. Their breakfast burrito was so big, I had to bring half of it home! It took up all of the room on the plate. It was delicious, even as leftovers.

Jim's is one of the best places to eat not only in Alameda but in East Bay. Waitresses here are friendly and meet any and all food requests. Your coffee is never cold nor is your food. Tiara, Sarah, Alex, and Breanna are the best. So for best food and service -- recommend Jim's on Lincoln in Alameda. Make 2024 your best year by eating at Jim's.

Stopped here for some coffee and dessert. Everyone was very nice and accommodating but the pie and coffee we tried weren't my favorite.
