Randomly picked this place as had a hankering for alameda n avocado toast for Sunday breakfast. Wife had starter chicken pate which was good but better for more than one and not a main. Generous portion. Avocado toast was enhanced when suggested to add olive oil. Shout out to delightful server -Maude?- who was so pleasant. She described how place is woman of color owned who hired high school kids to learn about kitchen work. All solids n will go back.
I love taking friends and family to The Preachers Daughter. The have great food, good vibes, friendly staff and beautiful interesting art you can admire and/or buy. Cocktails and mocktails are fun, my favorite sandwich is the Farmers Daughter. I have to have one every month or so. And I always have to get an ube bundt cake - soooo yummy and it's Purple?!?! They even have board games available to encourage people to hang out - how great is that?
