Gu eum Cake & Bakery Reviews
Loveee their cheesecake!!! Yummy but very expensive 💗🤑 matcha cake is good too
The cafe next door is our go to matcha spot, and today we decided to stop by this cute little bakery as well. Everything looked amazing, and I especially love Korean pastries due to their unique flavors and light sweetness. The prices are reasonable, staff were very kind and polite, the place itself was clean, and the little notes for each pastry definitely helped. The rice cake was so so good, so was the matcha cookie. I can’t wait to go back!
got the lemon yuza iced and latte hot.
lemon yuza was nice and refreshing. got a latte for my mom and she thought it was just okay. i think there is only one size for drinks, seemed like a 12oz. cups are super cute!

Gu eum Cake & Bakery is a unique Korean-inspired cafe, offering a variety of delicious pastries and drinks. The injeolmi cake is light and spongy, while the black sesame cake is dense with a complementary soft cream on top. Their madeleines are thick, and the red velvet one has a cream cheese filling. The yakgwa latte tastes exactly like sweet potato. Drinks are good but can be strong, and it's recommended to wait for the dalgona latte's frozen coffee to melt. The butter scone is a bit dry. The bakery has a sleek and minimalist design, making it a perfect study or hangout spot. Prices are on the higher end, but the unique Korean-inspired desserts make it worth a visit for a special occasion. Their cakes are absolutely delicious—soft, moist, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The selection of cakes includes the traditional Korean cakes that you can only find them in Korean bakery! The cakes come in well designed boxes, which makes them perfect for gifts or special occasions. One thing to note: they sell out fast! When I visited, there was no more tiramisu or sweet potato cake left. So if you have a specific cake in mind, make sure to go early! The Earl Gray sponge cake was delicious, not too sweet and full of Earl Gray flavor and aroma. The texture was ultra light and soft. It's not cheap but definitely fairly priced for the excellent quality of the cake.
