“The cafe next door is our go to matcha spot, and today we decided to stop by this cute little bakery as well. Everything looked amazing, and I especially love Korean pastries due to their unique flavors and light sweetness. The prices are reasonable, staff were very kind and polite, the place itself was clean, and the little notes for each pastry definitely helped. The rice cake was so so good, so was the matcha cookie. I can’t wait to go back!“

“This place has an incredible variety of Persian pastries, literally anything you can imagine. The pastries were delicious, and I loved that almost every kind was packed with plenty of pistachios. The ice cream was ok, though the saffron ice cream wasn't quite on par with what I’ve had at other places. It is generally overpriced. Also, I noticed a misspelled word in the logo ('Patisseire' instead of 'Patisserie'); I'm curious if they’ve ever noticed!“

“Their stuff isn’t bad. Their donuts are decent but I’m not really a donut person in general so I don’t know how to judge donuts. Their banana matcha was actually pretty good. I don’t know if I drank it too slow, but towards the end of my drink it kinda had a strange flavor, maybe it got diluted from the ice. Besides that, the drink was good for the most part.

I kept seeing reviews for the popcorn chicken saying it was bad and idk if maybe it depends on who makes it, but I think their popcorn chicken is pretty good. It had the best texture on the inside and it was crispy on the outside. I’ve tried popcorn chicken from several other places before and I think this is one of the best popcorn chickens I’ve had. I just wish they had spicy mayo as a sauce on the side or something. Then it would’ve been perfect 🤤 The popcorn chicken is $9.33 (including tax) which is a bit expensive.

Also last year I tried the hot Cheeto corn dog with just mozzarella on the inside and it was HUGE. I liked it but it made a mess everywhere 😓“

“The best cookies I’ve had in a while. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but these are so so good! I love the new variety of flavors every week and how they’re so unique and different than the generic cookies you buy in the grocery store. The price isn’t too bad either! For a box of 6 cookies it’s $22 but the cookies are HUGE. I can never finish one by myself so I leave them to the rest of my family. Also pro tip download the crumble app so you can earn free rewards. 100 points equals to $10 you can use towards the cookies.“

“Cute little modern French bakery with pastries, coffee and desserts. I have been wanting to stop by for ages, and I stopped in this afternoon after dropping off my kid for music classes across the street. Sadly just ate lunch so no need for pastries but I can always do an iced latte! They serve Chromatic brand coffee and you can get it with a variety of syrup flavors: caramel, hazelnut, raspberry, etc. $6 including tip. Honestly, it is a STEAL for handcrafted coffee compared to Starbucks - and it supports the neighborhood! We’ll be back for pastries, Preligen!“

“Let me start by saying I am a big cookie fan however I tend to stick to the basics. Chocolate chip cookies are by far the best cookie ever made and my goto cookie.

The Pudge chocolate chip cookies at Batch 22 is something I really wanted to like. However the chocolate chip to cookie ratio is way off. They need to have bigger chocolate chips and 2x more of them in the cookie. I expect every bite of a chocolate chip in it (minus the last bite) and this is not close. Most bites had no chocolate chips. I had ~3 of them over a period of time to confirm my findings so it was not an off batch where someone skimmed on the chocolate chips. If you are looking for a good chocolate chip cookie I would avoid this.

With the above said, they have a very good dark chocolate orange cookie. Not my goto cookie but a nice treat to have from time to time. I will be back for that one!“

“I was very charmed by this local donut spot. It is an older establishment (so a little run down which honestly just added to the whole experience for me) but very affordable and clean. Good donuts (very generous raspberry filling), tasty breakfast sandwich, hot diner coffee, the sweetest lady behind the counter, and regulars who were happy to see each other.“

“We ordered 4 sandos and every single one was amazing!! The Hong Kong Milk Toast tastes like a peanut butter sandwich so rich it must have been raised by the Vanderbilts. It was a transcendental experience for all 3 in our party. The Lemongrass Chicken Salad Sando, Longanisa Sando, and Egg Salad Sando were also good but the Milk Toast was just on another level. “This is a great place to grab the baked BBQ pork buns that I know of in the Bay Area. I never really knew this place was here when I lived in the Bay 12 years ago until recently when I came to visit. The baked BBQ pork buns are a bit more on the salty side but it's still good nonetheless. I still think Won Kok in L.A's Chinatown is the standard in my opinion but this place is still good nonetheless. Yes it's true the prices are high and it is cash only. But considering the area and how much their lease, utilities and supplies costs are, i think the price for their goods are understandable. Plus I'd rather spend my money towards a small mom and pop shop as well. Overall they got good baked Chinese goods and I think it's worth a try if you're in the area and craving some baked BBQ pork buns.“

I ordered a cake from New York to be delivered in San Jose, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. They took my message over the phone and wrote it perfectly on the cake. I also requested rainbow sprinkles, and they went out of their way to make it happen.

The communication was great throughout. They coordinated everything so smoothly and even sent me a picture of the cake before it was delivered, which I really appreciated since I couldn’t be there in person.

The cake looked beautiful, tasted great, and their customer service was honestly what stood out the most. They made celebrating someone from across the country so easy. Highly recommend!“
