“It's a one barista coffee shop and bakery so if there's more people it can be a bit of a wait. That said they had quite the variety of pastries, ice cream, and even turkish delight. The cream puff I had was delicious. They even had a fun selection of candles and one mini-cake.“
“I love the feeling of family owned businesses and the passion that is put into it! I absolutely love the Papo Seco and the Pasteis de Nata that I get here every other week! The food and groceries that are there are authentic Portuguese options with the home made taste!Highly recommend coming out to Portuguese Tasty Desserts for any and all Portuguese bakery needs!“
“Their sourdough bread is simply amazing! I'm eating it as I'm typing this review right now. I visited the bakery based on the recommendation of a friend for their delicious pistachio cookies but when I was in the store this morning, I end up getting the dessert cups, Napoleon cake, and sourdough bread. The bread is delicious and perfectly baked. Will definitely be back.“
“I ordered a celebration cake for newly Weds for a huge BBQ party from Cake Expressions! Cero the owner has been so awesome to work with. Cero delivered the cake to our party site and decorated it so patiently and beautifully with fresh roses. The cake was delicious, moist and of course beautiful. Everyone loved it.“
“Lele Café serves as a premier destination for all café-related needs, boasting an extensive range of products and an inviting atmosphere. The establishment cultivates a pleasant ambiance complemented by premium-quality offerings. Well-known for its exceptional taste, the coffee consistently garners praise. Team members show professionalism and hospitality, ensuring a welcoming experience for all customers.“
“I heard from a buddy it was the best doughnut shop in the area (he's a bit of a connoisseur) and I totally agree. It's our go-to now when we want doughnuts.Parking: 10ish spots. It's popular and some cars were double parked. I don't know if you can park at nearby locations. I said difficult, but it hasn't been too hard if you time it right.“
“OH MY LORD! Choc Cookies is a hidden gem quite literally it is a little bit hard to find the place! But it is so good! On Tuesdays you can get a discount on your cookies and that is what I do every time because it is so good! In my opinion their chocolate chip cookies are consistently the best!. The interiors are so gooey and warm. With the exteriors being extremely crispy which I love! When the cookies have contrasting textures it is just amazing. The cookies are also quite large so you will definitely feel satisfied! OVERALL the price is not too bad a with the discount and for the quality and portions you should definitely give Choc Cookies a try!“
“Came here for a small dessert bite. Their almond croissant was amazing! They also have complimentary homemade warm apple cider when we went and it was great. Probably just a special item for October.I just wish their seating is a bit nicer. I would've come here every weekend, get some nice pastries and drinks, and read a book. ?“
“I lived in Japan in the 70s and got spoiled! It’s becoming harder and harder to find traditional Japanese mochi here. This place makes the best in the entire San Francisco Bay area. If you want momiji, be sure to keep track on their website and order ahead!! they only sell it for a very short time in spring.“
“Clover has been the spot for a long time since my high school days. It seems like it went crazy on tiktok and the lines became bigger. During the times I’ve gone recently, it’s been totally fine. The onigiri is actually the best I’ve ever had ? and they continue to add vegetarian options. ?“
“Very nice, cozy and delicious spot!Their coffee and pastries are delicious!I'd recommend their Destination Tokyo coffee with cherry blossom water and brown sugar. It was sweet and rich, I didn't even need to add any sweetener!10/10 would recommend. They get extra points for their beautiful latte art ✨“
“Honestly, there’s many places in San Jose you can get great coffee, but here’s why I always come to the San Pedro Voyager1) the customer service. I actually got caught off guard when the barista asked how my day was going because I’m so accustomed to the robotic baristas at Philz that just at scowl at you when you come up to the register. It really feels like the baristas here genuinely want to make you feel at home.2) Lots of seating which is usually rare at popular coffee shops. Being in SP Square means you can easily grab some good food if you need a lunch break and don’t want to move your car.3) Free cup of coffee with unlimited refills if you buy a bag of whole beans.4) Free 90 minutes of parking without the need of validation.Only downside of this place is that it can sometimes feel like a McDonald’s play land with how many parents let their kids run around screaming. And on weekdays, lot of people taking zoom calls and having meetings, so I’d recommend a good pair of noise cancelling headphones“
“We've tried about 10 different kinds of empanadas here, and all were excellent! They will heat them so you can eat them there if you like (no inside tables, only a couple outside) but we always get a bunch to heat & eat at home. Favorite savory: beef & potato. Favorite sweet: pineapple.“
“Top tier coffee fasho ?They offer single origin for their espresso and they also have pastries from Neighbor Bakehouse! I ordered a flat white and the piloncillo latte, both of which were very good and properly made. My only knock on the flat white was that it was a little foamy and it was ridiculously hot! For the pastries, we got the everything croissant and pistachio berry croissant, both of which we’d highly recommend! I’ll be back for sure, this is definitely one of the best coffee shops in the South Bay.“
“I have been fortunate to have this delectable cookie Crumbl store right across the street from me. I can even smell the cookies being baked!! I continue to enjoy the yummy cookies, great service and the best atmosphere.A very happy customer“
“Great croissants as expected, tried the breakfast croissant with egg and Gruyere, matcha chocolate croissant. You can experience the care and attention to detail in every pastry. Too pricey as regular pastry shop to patronize but will come by occasionally.“
“More than a bakery it looks like a boutique. With prices to match. Unfortunately while the cakes look great the quality was not there. Got an almond croissant and a chocolate croissant. Both were dry. Service was not on par either 3 minutes until someone asked what I was looking for and they were not “
“We stopped by Satura on New Year's Eve on a whim. It's located in a cute downtown area and there was plenty of parking available (I think there was a lot of parking because most shops were closed for the holiday). Satura has a little bit of outdoor seating but there is none indoors. The pastry case had individual sized desserts and some larger cakes available. We got a vanilla custard filled choux bun, individual mont blanc, and individual yuzu passion. We also got a chocolate covered croissant. Ordering and check out was quick. They also have coffee drinks but we didn't try any. The chocolate covered croissant was a fun take on a croissant. The croissant wasn't the crispiest/flakiest croissant I've ever had but it was decent and fun to have it completely coated in chocolate. The cream puff and mont blanc were ok but we loved the yuzu passion. It has a strong yuzu flavor and a wonderful crunch from the hazelnut layer. I enjoyed getting some of the individual desserts for sampling. If I were in the area, I would stop by again to try other things.“
“This is the best panaderia is San Jose hands down. The service and staff here are amazing! The owner is the sweetest person ever and has been in the food business for decades. The bread and breakfast burritos are great! If you’re in the area, give this place a try!“
“We ordered a few different baked goods and some coffee. The hazelnut chocolate croissant and mango pastry were really good. We also got a raspberry fruit tart and chocolate chip cookie, they weren’t as good as the other two. For drinks we got an iced mocha and iced americano, the drinks were mid. I’d go back to try different pastries.“
“Mr.cake is best cake delivery service in the area. They assisted me very well on WhatsApp in taking my order and executing it on timely basis.Cake is freshly baked and it is delicious ? I highly recommend this bakers for any type of Birthday cakes at reasonable prices.“
“Very beautiful welcoming place, very clean, very peaceful inside. Makes you feel good to be in San Jose with such special places like this. Very nice people. Delicious brownies, Matcha latte and Mango Cake ! Fantastic spot, probably my new favorite treat spot. Definitely high on my list of perfectly balanced treats to satisfy your sweet tooth and not feel sick afterwords. I’ve been so excited to try this place and they did their thing! You should go here and show some support!“
“I stumbled upon Butter Cheeni on instagram and was very intrigued with the various cake flavors Avani had. I have a very pick baby who loves mango so we decided to get a mango rasmalai cake for her. The cake was DELICIOUS to say the least!!! My daughter does not have a sweet tooth but she loved this cake and kept asking for more. It was the perfect amount of sweetness that everyone enjoyed. The best rasmalai I’ve had and all our guests loved it and went for seconds. A couple of guests raved it was the best cake they’ve had!!!From the very first interaction with Avani she’s been amazing. Very responsive, professional and friendly. Thank you so much Avani ☺️“
“A HIDDEN GEM!How have I lived around the corner from you all this time and not visited you until this year. The best Macha Latte, amazing coffee art, great pastries. Great Cortado.Huge space with lots of outlets for plugging in. Lots of seating, friendly staff. Craft coffee, so it may take a little bit to get your order but when it comes it’s an amazing piece of art, and great tasting! I highly recommend this place, lots of parking…“
“I wanted a special birthday cake for my wife and told Monica the general idea. She turned my idea into made a beautiful cake (I supplied the edible maj jong tiles) that was so delicious. The cake was a big hit with all our guests. She was very easy to work with and I highly recommend her!“
“I’ve been gluten free for 15 years, and it has been rough. But I have made the most of it by searching for gluten free treats everywhere I go. I’ve had gluten free pastries in dozens of cities including London, Florence, Madrid, Sacramento, Lahaina, and Austin. Other than the now shuttered Helmut Newcake in Paris, Sweet Diplomacy is my favorite of all time (and only 20 minutes away!). If you have tried baking gluten free you know pastry (choux, puff, flakey) is really hard to do. This place gets pastry and cakes as close to wheat flour as it gets. I enjoy all of the offerings but I’m most impressed by the pastry. The cream puffs OMG. And today I tried the tiramisu for the first time (it knocked my socks off). The coffee is excellent, and I love their cupcake varieties and cookies but my stomach is only so big.I personally do not reach for the vegan offerings but this is because I don’t need to (give me butter!!). If you have restrictions they have nut free and vegan options.I’m super impressed by this, especially knowing the difficulty of GF baking.Dietary restrictions: 100% Gluten free. Vegan options. Nut free options.“
“It’s my amazing first time being here. Now breakfast and cup of mocha with butter croissant is my sweet choice today ?Wow, taste is very good!If you like to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea - welcome to this awesome place!Stuff are very kind, atmosphere is pleasant!Highly recommended?“
“A great bakery located in Los Gatos on W Main Street/University Ave. My wife and I have been coming here off and on for years. They have street parking or parking lot in the back. Nicely decorated, yet simple. They also sell bakery accessories, etc. The customer service is nice, helpful, and friendly. Grab a number because they service by ticket numbers and get there early because they do run out of items. They are famous for their banana cake along with their banana cupcakes - moist, light, fluffy, and topped with a sweetened frosting. A must get!!! In addition, they sell whole cakes, loaves, cupcakes, cookies, etc.“
“Bagel Street Cafe - Sunnyvale is a must visit for me on early weekend mornings if I'm working Saturdays or before/after Church. Food is exceptional and the service is fast. Plenty of parking too! The Lox bagels and Supreme/Deluxe breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. The earlier you go the better because this location can get very busy and the more popular bagel varieties (Marinara, Spinach Asiago, Jalapeno Cheddar, Etc.) can go quick.“
“Carol treated us very kindly. Order cold pot coffee and a duvalín latte. A little disappointed because the duvalin drink doesn't taste like duvalin, I think it's nesquik. However, the coffee was delicious and the bread was delicious!“
“Crumbl is all the hype. The iconic pink boxes filled with cookies about the size of your face and weighs a pound. I will give it to the marketing and advertisement aspect. They are always on top of the new flavors every week and customizing it to the unthinkable. Cookies are always tasty and flavorful it could be at times be on the sweeter side, so you can definitely split this up into acouple of meals. I prefer the chilled versions and I've never found any to be dried out. I recommend signing up for their rewards program/app to get up to date on the new flavors. Prices are on the higher side but you at paying for the quality and the specialty item. Wish they offered more promotions or deals. And also wishes they brought back in rotation flavors that are super popular and fan favorites.“
“Debbie is an ANGEL!! I am sooo glad I found her and could support her one woman show she has created! She took every single detail I wanted and absolutely blew me away. Every single person at our wedding was in AWE of this cake masterpiece and I can't recommend her enough! Thank you for making our special day so amazing!“
“Kind and authentic cafe. Ambiance was super cute. It's lovely to sit outside on a nice day and enjoy a delicious, well made latte--which they served to me when I already sat myself; a really sweet gesture. Workers seem to enjoy themselves too. I have yet to try the food but it looks good!“
“Wide selection of desserts. Cakes are not too sweet, and they have options for those with special diet preferences like keto and vegan. If they get too busy, have a little patience to wait til you get served, but staff are nice and trying to accommodate everyone. If you are a self entitled customer, maybe not the right place for you. First come, first serve...of course.Dietary restrictions: For keto diet, they have sugar free pistachio mousse“
“i dont eat dessert often. but every product here ,its size is perfect for sweet guilty. highly recommend pumpkin basque cheese cake, japanese pumpkin mixed so well with cheese and bought a fine hint flavor when melting in mouth. if possible i could eat it everyday!“
“Didn't know I wanted an egg custard tart until I walked by and saw this place. Good thing I did because my life changed! Amazing texture, perfect crust, so tasty! I'm a little glad I don't live close by because I'd be here all the time. Would love to try one of the other beautiful offerings. Don't forget your cash!“
“The smell of baked goods as you walk in the store is incredible. Many of the items are self serve using trays and sheets of paper, similar to a Paris Baguette. Maybe I've gotten used to overpriced bakery items in the Bay Area, but the items at Ruby's were surprisingly reasonably priced. One example was a Mexican style chocolate croissant. The pastry was soft and had a nice chew to it; and instead of sticks of melted chocolate inside, the croissant was filled with a chocolate pudding. Great experience.“
“Delicious little cafe!Wanted to grab a quick bite around Los Gatos and stumbled upon this cute gem of a place. The place was quite busy and there were a lot of customers inside sitting and eating. Luckily they have an outdoor space to accommodate more people.Primarily a bakery store but they have light breakfast/lunch times like Avacado toasts, soups etc.I decided to get a few amazing croissants- raspberry pistachio almond with orange and chocolate banana almond croissants :) They also have mini croissants which is a great option if you don't want to eat a whole big one. Relatively speaking this is an expensive place. The mini croissants are as expensive as a regular full size croissants in other bakeries. The raspberry croissants were ok, not as good as the plain almond or chocolate ones. I also got a French onion soup and it tasted ok. Not the best I have had. They had a lot of amazing looking desserts which I would be happy to try another time.Kid-friendliness: kids are welcome“
“Came in before 10AM on a Saturday and there wasn't many treats left! This place opens at 9. I got the chocolate glazed "donut" and it's just a brioche bun, not in donut shape. Didn't like their latte, it was overly bitter and a bit too much foam for a latte. Maybe the barista mixed up the other customer's order, who got a cappochino.“
“# La Superior Taquería ReviewRecently, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at La Superior Taquería, and it was a delightful experience. The highlight of our meal was the Carne Asada Nachos, which were not only delicious but also generously portioned enough to satisfy both of us. The pineapple drink we ordered was a refreshing complement to our meal, offering just the right balance of sweetness. We didn't stop there, though. The bakery section caught our eye, and we decided to try several baked goods. Each item was a testament to the taquería's commitment to freshness and quality. The bakery goods were not just affordable but also delectably yummy, making them impossible to resist. The ambiance of La Superior Taquería added to our positive experience. There was plenty of parking, which made our visit stress-free. The staff was kind and welcoming, enhancing our overall dining experience. Additionally, the variety of food options available was impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. In conclusion, La Superior Taquería is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for affordable, fresh food with great portion sizes, and a variety of delicious bakery items. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon!“
“LOVE Dolce Sicilia! Over the years, I've had their cookies, gelatos, and espressos from here... It's always fantastic. I love to share assorted cookies with family and friends and their gelato is hand made fresh in the shop. But what compelled me to write a review is their limoncello cake. It is so light yet decadent and not overly sweet. We enjoyed this on Mother's Day and it will now be a go-to cake for celebrations. Looking forward to trying their pastas!“
“I recently gave a ride to an employee I’ll refer to as X. Not only was she easy to talk to, but she even offered me a cupcake from a 4-pack that she was taking home. The cupcake was a chocolate cherry flavoring that was as moist and as soft as any cupcake should be. Not only that, but X did a great job upselling other products and even the job itself. This bakery is lucky to have her!“
“I got these via DoorDash! It seems like it's also possible to order through their own website. Everything is good! I love their interesting sourdoughs. Of course they taste like sourdough, but they look pretty and I felt that the ube sourdough had a sweet scent when I toasted a slice at home. Their breakfast toast is a pile of HEAVEN!! A little spicy and lemony, with a nice thick slice of bread. I got it with the sesame sourdough, I loved the seeds with that one. Very shareable portion. The potato tostones are shareable by 2-3 people too. They have a bit of a kick but they're absolutely delicious, smashed potatoes with the soft inners and crisped edges. The crab sandwich was amazing especially with the lemon squeezed on. I had my doubts about American cheese paired with crab, but honestly that really pulled it together with its salty smooth creaminess. And don't be fooled by the photo thinking it's some kinda wonderbread sized sandwich... Nah, it's a BIG sandwich! Their bread is lovely and soft. As for the chocolate strawberry toast, I think that's something you could make at home so I'd recommend just buying a loaf of the bread, which I also did! That said, it was tasty and the sweetness plus sourdough was surprisingly good. It was a thick slice of toast so, again, could be shared. The ube scone was nice and not too sweet, not a strong ube flavor but it was tasty! Overall everything I've tried so far has been good, I'm definitely going to explore the menu a little more.Vegetarian options: There are definitely a couple of vegetarian toasts/sandwiches and they look good! I wouldn't recommend for vegans though.“
“Korean bakery serving up sweet and savory baked goods, including croque monsieur's, croissants, mochi donuts (mo-dos), fruit tarts, turnovers, pains au chocolat, roll cakes, milk bread and a large variety of Asian style cakes, which are substantially less sweet than their western counterparts.Located in the outer corner of a strip mall at El Camino and Fair Oaks (the Pavlina Mall) it is directly across the street from in-n-out and shares the Mall's parking lot.Pro tip: access to the parking aisles nearest the entrance can only be achieved in the clockwise direction around the structure. With that in mind, it is best to enter the main parking lot from the Fair Oaks driveway and bear slight right upon entering.“
“This store is Old School and delightfully stocked with cake decorating supplies that will have nearly everything your looking for, from fillings to many boxes for your baked delectables; including sprinkles, rental plans and maybe a learning class or two. Enjoy!“
“Everyone there is so friendly and BILINGUAL. The bakery is clean, well lit and has plenty of parking. The bread is the perfect balance of sweetness for me and they have a great selection of items. I'm thankful that they are doing great business on this side of town and look forward to supporting this small business“
“The owner of Du Ciel made our baby shower cake. We had a Little Dumpling theme and she made a beautiful cake that looks like a dumpling basket with little sugar dumplings on top. It was so beautiful and delicious. She was also just really nice and easy to talk to. She came in on a day her shop was closed just to give us our cake as fresh as possible. Thank you so much! Would definitely go here again!“
“After a delicious lunch we decided to go here for coffee. Cocola Bakery is a charming French bakery and café serving French breads and pastries that are all baked daily on location. This indoor/outdoor café also serves gourmet sandwiches on fresh baguettes, with salads and homemade soups. We decided to have Mocha Bianca and believe me it's very tasty and creamy coffee. We also got dessert - pineapple twist, pineapple custard filling and cheese danish. If you haven't tried this place, I will highly recommend it and do try the pineapple custard filling dessert and the mocha bianca, I promise you will not regret it. I loved it and the service is great, the inside sitting can get crowded but they do have outside seating as well. As I write this review, I am craving that coffee for sure. I highly recommend this place.“
“Cute store with outside seating. Impressive macrons are good little desserts for those that don't want too much sugar. The outdoor seating provides a nice place for hanging out.The inside of the store could be a little more tidy and organized. Maybe consider hiding all the supplies from the customers' view.“
“A very unique, Korean-flavored inspired cafe! The injeolmi cake was very light and spongy, whereas the black sesame cake was super dense on the bottom and complimented by the soft cream on top. The madelines were very thick and the red velvet one had cream cheese filling inside. I also got the yakgwa latte, which tasted exactly like a sweet potato! The texture was thick too. Would recommend coming here for a special day, but everything is quite pricey!“
