“Sushi Heaven may be a small unassuming Japanese restaurant tucked away in a small Saratoga plaza, but it has some of the tastiest / freshest Japanese food in the area. Everything is home made, and the sushi rolls are creative and delicious. Even the basic rolls hit.

Would highly recommend the lunch / dinner combo and grabbing a roll or two. You won't be disappointed!“

“We had the Kaiseki experience at Hachi Ju Hachi, and it was exceptional. Our table was in a small room next to the kitchen, connected by an open pass-through where Chef Suzuki prepared parts of our meal and engaged with us throughout the evening.

Every course was beautifully presented and delicious. The smoked cod was a standout, even for someone who doesn’t usually enjoy cod. The aged gari, miso soup, and a snapper soup with matsutake mushrooms were all excellent.

Service pacing was perfect, and the whole evening felt calm, thoughtful, and memorable. Highly recommended.“

“First time after a referral and it did not disappoint! The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was clean and modern. The staff were so nice and came by multiple times to check on us. I had the Happy Together roll and a Saba hand roll which were so full of flavor. Will definitely be coming back!“

“The sushi is so fresh it melts in your mouth. It’s so good. It’s a quaint almost hole in the wall type place but it’s clean and the people are friendly and attentive. I ordered a takeout meal consisting of special rolls and a sashimi box, and the quality was outstanding. So yummy and fresh! And to mention, waitress was telling us how the kitchen staff was now going to sleep because we were asking to change music. Wow, guilt trip because we, and others hated the music. “The 🍣sushi was okay, but the takoyaki and miso soup were overly salty. To be honest, the takoyaki tasted like it was from frozen and was pretty bad. You won't see any piece of🐙 in takoyaki. It was just a breading. However, the service was excellent, which is why I’m leaving 4 stars.“

“Our family went to the downtown MV Pokéworks on Friday afternoon to do take out and were delighted to find this location on Castro Street nicely blocked off, shaded, with ample clean and widely spaced seating if you want to dine-outside. Really highly recommend this location of Pokeworks - you can order&pay online and the manager of this location is meticulous about safety and YUMMY food. They even have the Disneyland DoleWhip for dessert 🤤.“

Pick up was super easy--they had set up tables with lots of space in between orders and room for social distancing. “Nagoya Sushi was excellent! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I had the Dragon Roll, Musketeer Roll, and miso soup, and everything was delicious. The rolls were especially tasty and packed with great flavor.

The service was friendly, attentive, and made for a great dining experience from start to finish. And as a bonus, the beer was ice cold and perfectly refreshing with the meal.
