“Came here for lunch before my movie. Went with the Katana Special, the nigiri, sashimi, and Ultra California Roll were really good. I didn’t try any of the cooked rolls since I prefer raw fish, but I can tell everything was fresh. A good spot, will definitely return!“

Miso was so yum, I love how they make it; broth wasn’t too watery and was the perfect temp to slurp it down. Served quickly with my lunch bento. “Nice place to eat, I only give the food 4 stars because the little differences in their rolls compares to others I've had with the same name just wasn't really for me. I ate them and enjoyed them as best I could and had no issues with them just not the best I've tried of rolls with that name.“

“This sushi spot is down the street from my house and it's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Granted I usually come in for lunch and order a bento box. I love the spicy chicken teriyaki, veggie tempura and California rolls. Their Chile. Matsu was good but I prefer the teriyaki. Their miso soup is tasty.

Restaurant is typical sushi restaurant size. They may accommodate larger parties with notice. The art on the wall is movies, action figures, and things of that nature

I haven't tried too much outside of that so I will have to order more when I go next time. I want to order specialty rolls. Will update the review after the fact.“

The small upscale restaurant was popular with a full house with outdoor seating where we were.

Many tables ordered Al la car like I did & they’d leave early. Chef’s menu takes about more than an hour. Bite-size multiple tapa dishes.“

The chefs were excellent, the seafood quality was extremely fresh, and they had items directly from Japan (such as uni from Hokkaido).

It was worth every penny, there was no downside except once you leave you’re still in California instead of Tokyo.“

“The speed of service was supersonic. Everything was cooked well and the portions are large! I would definitely come back. I was very hungry and didn't get any pictures! However I recommend the bento box! The tempura was crispy and the vegetables flavorful. I also had the California Roll which was yummy. I appreciate a roll that's not more rice than filling and these were perfect!“

“I just keep forgetting they play the worst music. And at times that you wouldn't play hot pop, rap. Older crowd means NOT pop nor hip-hop. And to mention, waitress was telling us how the kitchen staff was now going to sleep because we were asking to change music. Wow, guilt trip because we, and others hated the music. Since when did kitchen staff over rule CUSTOMERS! Shame on you. Lost a local customer, and maybe others.

“Good legit Japanese restaurant. The chicken karaage was very tender and juicy. For some reason it was very spicy. The sukiyaki was ok. The beef was a little tough but tasted good. We also got a teriyaki salmon and assorted tempura. The salmon was a little over cooked. which I expected it to be better. All in all a great place for a good representation of Japanese cuisine.“

Really highly recommend this location of Pokeworks - you can order&pay online and the manager of this location is meticulous about safety and YUMMY food. They even have the Disneyland DoleWhip for dessert 🤤.“

It has gone through a lot of changes after the pandemic hit, but the quality of the food has never changed. Love it, amazing overall. My only wish would be that they expand so it does not feel as cramped when dining in, but their take out system is extremely effective.“

Pick up was super easy--they had set up tables with lots of space in between orders and room for social distancing.
