“Enjoyed my quick lunch to Bay Sushi. I finally had time to go during their special hours. Pretty packed but seated fast. Miso was so yum, I love how they make it; broth wasn’t too watery and was the perfect temp to slurp it down. Served quickly with my lunch bento. Tempura was crunchy and the dipping sauce made it savory. Gyoza was crisp and the filling was yum. Great price and wonderful service.“

But I've eaten some fancy sushi and this place was just as good if not better (!). The special roll shaped like a flower was beautiful and fresh. Amazing raw tuna (I think?). “Nice place to eat, I only give the food 4 stars because the little differences in their rolls compares to others I've had with the same name just wasn't really for me. I ate them and enjoyed them as best I could and had no issues with them just not the best I've tried of rolls with that name.“

It's affordable and the quantities are satisfying. If you think of it like a traditional restaurant that you find in Japan - except you sit on chairs at tables instead of on a tatami mat at chabudi (low tables) - then you'll find it satisfying.“

“The sushi is so fresh it melts in your mouth. It’s so good. It’s a quaint almost hole in the wall type place but it’s clean and the people are friendly and attentive. It’s a definite must if you like sushi. Prices are reasonable and a tiny bit high on some dishes but it’s worth it. I will be going back again and I’m sure lots of times 😋“

“This sushi spot is down the street from my house and it's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Granted I usually come in for lunch and order a bento box. I love the spicy chicken teriyaki, veggie tempura and California rolls. Their Chile. Matsu was good but I prefer the teriyaki. Their miso soup is tasty.

Restaurant is typical sushi restaurant size. They may accommodate larger parties with notice. The art on the wall is movies, action figures, and things of that nature

I haven't tried too much outside of that so I will have to order more when I go next time. I want to order specialty rolls. Will update the review after the fact.“

Many tables ordered Al la car like I did & they’d leave early. Chef’s menu takes about more than an hour. Bite-size multiple tapa dishes.“

“This is a new, really nice casual spot for sushi and other everyday Japanese dishes, with a clear menu that covers most of the classics: sushi, rolls, rice bowls, and sides. Prices are reasonable, nothing too fancy, and everything tastes fresh.

Since they just opened and only have a couple of people working, service can be a bit slow when several parties arrive at the same time, but you can tell they are putting in effort and trying their best.

I am really happy to have a simple sushi place like this nearby and will definitely be coming back soon.“

“Good legit Japanese restaurant. The chicken karaage was very tender and juicy. For some reason it was very spicy. The sukiyaki was ok. The beef was a little tough but tasted good. We also got a teriyaki salmon and assorted tempura. The salmon was a little over cooked. which I expected it to be better. All in all a great place for a good representation of Japanese cuisine.“

Highlights:
- Albacore ginger roll: simple but never seen it before and loved it. Good quality white tuna with ginger along the sides. 5 stars
- Tempura: crispy crunchy batter than typical airy style but was good Order came with 2 shrimp, 2 onion, sweet potato, carrot. Bonus for daikon coming with the tempura sauce. 4 stars
- Scallop nigiri: nice size, flavor, and texture. 4 stars
- Dragon roll: solid version but unagi could've been bit better. They were able to do it without the crab for me. I'm not a fan of that mayo mix 3.5 stars
- Miso soup: came with lots of tofu and a pretty decent sized bow: 3.5 stars
- 3 different menus: sushi, specials, dinner menu
- Japanese waitress was nice.
- Seating inside with booth tables, a tatami room, and tables on the patio even
- Classical music made me feel calm and cultured

Lowlights:

We usually get the three fish, this is one of the the only places with the yam noodles, and they are pretty generous with their portions.“

“We just ordered dinner from Blue Mango tonight. What a treat! We had the pineapple fried rice, pad thai, mango curry, bamboo, and my favorite mango salad. Pick up was super easy--they had set up tables with lots of space in between orders and room for social distancing. It has gone through a lot of changes after the pandemic hit, but the quality of the food has never changed. Love it, amazing overall. “Decent price, sushi as fresh as it gets and taste-wise is immaculate. Was recommended the hamachi roll by the staff and it was loaded with hamachi in and out. A bit weirded out with the mango in the poké but was surprisingly refreshing. Big fan of the sauteed edamame as well and their softshell crab is real juicy. Plus the Uni is real fresh and creamy.

Absolutely recommended, you wont regret it. The 1 star reviews are mostly disgruntled, weird, nitpicky costumers.“

Except Sherlock Sushi everything was amazing and very different. I personally would not prefer cream cheese in my sushi hence Sherlock rolls were not tht great.
