Enjoyed my quick lunch to Bay Sushi. I finally had time to go during their special hours. Pretty packed but seated fast. Miso was so yum, I love how they make it; broth wasn’t too watery and was the perfect temp to slurp it down. Served quickly with my lunch bento. Tempura was crunchy and the dipping sauce made it savory. Gyoza was crisp and the filling was yum. Great price and wonderful service.
Bay Sushi is my favorite Japanese restaurant. I have been going there for more than 20 years and find their food to be absolutely wonderful. Here are some of my favorites: 1. Poo Song nigiri, which is a scallop salad 2. Tobiko nigiri with a raw quail egg yolk on top 3. The French Kiss roll, which uses egg on the outside instead of nori 4.I recommend the Chirashi as well.
