Quality of the food here is great and very authentic, though priced on the higher side. We enjoyed the sashimi and rolls. Atmosphere is very lively and the space seems best for smaller parties. It usually gets very busy during peak hours, so it's recommended to coming early to avoid waiting longer. Parking can be tough in the plaza lot but it's usually ok.
It's been a number of years since my wife and I would come here for dinner when my boys lived in the Santa Clara area. By chance we were at Santana Row and wanted some sukiyaki and sushi when we remembered all the great food memories from before. Arriving at 5:45 pm on a Saturday, there were four other parties ahead of us but within 15 minutes our name was called and we were sitting at the sushi bar where everything that we ordered was still top notch. Authentic Japanese with good fresh materials and ingredients. Cooking is nicely done. Service is excellent and wonderful. Space is a bit tight but this gives a more Japanese flavour. Highly recommended.
