Always great food served quickly. Extremely popular, get there before they open, or wait in line. Very nice staff, working hard.
This is the best sushi in the bay area. Very authentic Japanese flavors and the freshest fish. We particularly enjoy the Japanese specialties like Fukuoka Salmon, Hokkaido Hotate, and Hotaru Ika when in season.
The 🍣sushi was okay, but the takoyaki and miso soup were overly salty. To be honest, the takoyaki tasted like it was from frozen and was pretty bad. You won't see any piece of🐙 in takoyaki. It was just a breading. However, the service was excellent, which is why I’m leaving 4 stars.

Tomi Sushi Restaurant offers authentic Japanese cuisine with fresh ingredients and excellent cooking. The service is wonderful, and the lightly lit space creates a warm and cozy feel, adding to the Japanese atmosphere, even though it can be a bit tight. The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant is known for its great quality fish and incredibly quick service. It is a reliable regular sushi spot that serves fresh fish and always has a variety of options. This is not a typical over the top roll house. Come for their nigiri and chirashi bowls which have always been solid. The freshness of their fish rivals other high end sushi restaurants. Their scallops and tuna are very good and the Eel Roll is a favorite. The atmosphere is comfortable and more spacious. While the wait can be long for weekend dinners, it is a testament that this is a great place and a solid choice for good food, making it worth the wait for many diners.
