When the sushi restaurant opened across the street, we of course had to try it, unfortunately they don't have the service nor food that would take us away from Shushi Pro.

The staff here truly cares about their guests.
They were attentive, courteous, & polite.

I have been a Food & Beverage Director for many hotels & I wish my service staff were as gracious and perfectional as the staff here.

My wife and I really love dining at Sushi Pro. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was very well handled. I appreciate the team for putting together such a good experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

“Best Tempura I have ever had! Crispy and fresh. You can just taste the freshness of the veggies and fish. I had the 2 item Bento Box with assorted Tempura and Spicy Tuna Roll. And because my eyes are bigger than my stomach and everything looked so amazing, I added a Dragon Roll and the Tempura Shrimp even held up in the roll. Of course I couldn't ear it all, my son enjoyed the leftovers.Don't pass this one by. Clean, cute and friendly service. It will be my regular while my dog is groomed near by.“

“We've been coming here quite often, probably at least every month since it's been hard finding a consistent and good sushi place in San Jose. Honestly, the price is great for the quality you get (plus they have a rewards program). We always order the Sushi Tokujo, Ika Geso Karaage, and Sake Toro. They had a seasonal uni soba noodles that were amazing but not on the menu anymore. We don't normally order sushi rolls though so I can't recommend that. Service is top notch and quality is amazing for a restaurant in a mall.“

“Went there yesterday to celebrate birthday. We focused mainly on the Sushi rolls which was viewed on the table menu under the glass. Service was great. What I miss is some Japanese music to provide authentic atmosphere.

“Went to Udon Mugizo with my family tonight on New Year’s Eve. Our food arrived within 5-15 minutes, which was must faster than expected, especially on a holiday. The beef combo and Niku Udon didn’t have a lot of meat or vegetables. The service was incredibly good, and we even chatted with our server!“

“Ended up going here by chance and very happy we did! All the ingredients were prepared to perfection, good quality and fresh. We ended up sharing one box between the two of us for lunch as it is a fairly sized portion for one box. The staff was patient, well spoken and helpful. Only weird thing was when it was time to pay. I was using my Apple Pay and didn’t properly activate it when I was about to place my phone on the scanner. Instead of just telling me like a normal human being, the server pushed my phone away and told me rudely that it wasn’t activated properly. Please don’t touch me or my phone.

Rice balls are good.. but they're missing the seaweed wrapper for some reason (compared to every other place including Clover Bakery next door) and the price is higher in exchange for more/better fillings.

“Shabuway used to be my friend and I’s favorite go-to hotpot place for a long time! However, in the recent year or so their prices have gone up—exceeding the average price of other nearby hotpot places. The veggie plate is also a little scarce. However, the taste and quality of the meat and broth remain top-notch and delicious. Their sauce also pairs very well with the flavors. Personally I love the spicy miso base! “This is the first time I’ve experienced an all you can eat sushi bufet. I learned that regular sushi is much more enjoyable. Yes it is more affordable but sushi is meant to be eaten in small portions. It is very caloric and filling.
The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because everything that was fried in the sushi (tempura, salmon skin etc) was excessively oily.
We also tried two Korean corn dogs and they were very different- the first had mozzarella cheese and a tiny Korean wiener while the second had cheddar, mozarella and the even smaller wiener but all coated in sugar - not tasty at all.“

“I read the reviews and had to stop to see what the excitement was.The resteraunt is very small with about 8 tables.we were doing take out and we were told our 2 rolls would be ready in 5 minutes.
Sure enough 5 minutes and we were out the door heading home.i ordered a calif roll and my wife ordered a shrimp tempura roll.
My wife loves sushi and I tolerate it.
Everytime we visit other restaurants I get disappointed cause the crab used is imitation.
Here at Nagoya Sushi they had real crab.
I must say I was impressed and loved the Sushi.when I tasted both rolls they both

“This place has quickly became my favorite sushi spot in northern San Jose and Santa Clara. The sushi is always fresh and hugely portioned. The udon is basic, but the tempura is always extra crispy and filling. Lastly, their bento box, a usual staple, is delicious on all items and reasonable priced.

Additionally, their Tako Nigiri and Agedashi Tofu are my favorite appetizers here.“

“I've tried several Sizzling Lunch locations in different cities but it's the first time I've visited this one. It was on a busy Sunday so there was no to available tables, so our party of 4 walked in, signed up for the waiting list, and in about 15 minutes the text that our table is ready came in.
We were seated and ordered our food, which came out very fast. It was hot, delicious, and we were very happy with the service. The fries were absolutely amazon tasting and became my favorite appetizers. The main courses were also good and we had a really nice lunch.
The food was very filling and the ambiance of the restaurant was very welcoming“

“Most restaurants located next to supermarkets tend to have good food. I give the food 9/10, it would have been a perfect score but the salad was old and still served. It was the brown old, and bitter salad that no one wants to eat. The dressing on the salad was so good gobbled it down.

“This is not dine in restaurant. But a take out place. They share the space with another restaurant. So don't expect to come in to sit & eat. Place is beaten down & looks bit shady. They have cameras for security measure however.

Sushi here is very tasty and not super expensive as well. They give you the food within ten minutes of ordering. There are plenty of options available(for various price points) and would recommend to try.“
