“Being in SJ, there are a ton of pho options but Pho Ly is a very solid new spot. What puts them over is the broth, they use ingredients that a lot of other restaurants skimp on. So it tastes like a home cooked bowl from your vietnamese auntie. The chefs know what they're doing and put a lot of thought into it. The service was fast and the inside was very clean. It's a very easy location to get to with a spacious parking lot, unlike many spots in East SJ. So if you're looking for a quick bite of pho, I very much recommend pho ly.“

We order #2 special Pho beef noodles soup, soup is so tasty, size is large portion.
#35 noodle with BBQ shrimp n pork, pork is juicy and tender, but I did not take noddle soup picture due to just cannot wait to eat.

“Went to Nagoya Sushi for dinner with a friend after an absence of more than a year to this restaurant. Everything seems to remain unchanged with friendly service provided and a quiet environment for dinner. The crazy sushi roll is good but the other dishes are just alright in taste with reasonable portion sizes. Overall, I think that this restaurant is worth visiting for someone who wants to sample Japanese cuisine or enjoys the friendly service provided.“

“Really good soup. Went with my parents and grandpa. They said it tastes exactly like Saigon. I also got nem cuộn mía nướng which I feel not a lot of places do. Prices are more affordable for sure. Definitely recommend though it’s very casual spot. There are some plastic stools and tables for outdoor seating.“

“Eight of us were there for a High School reunion on a Wednesday from 5:00 to mid-nite. The food was excellent for beers with old friends. The service ladies polite, friendly and attentive. The ambiance cozy, pleasant as an upscale bar. The karaoke was a bit loud so we had to shout when talking, but I guess it's expected of a karaoke place. We will return for another get-together.“

“Shilin really satisfied my Taiwanese street food cravings 😭🇹🇼 We got the oyster mee sua, fried chicken cutlet, lemon aiyu jelly drink, and scallion pancake, and honestly everything hit the spot. The mee sua tasted authentic and comforting, the chicken cutlet was crispy and juicy, and the lemon aiyu was super refreshing. The scallion pancake was also flaky and flavorful. It honestly felt like getting snacks from a Taiwanese night market again. Would definitely come back!“

“I'm relatively new to Vietnamese food, and wow was this a great introduction. We had chicken fried rice, pho, and garlic beef. Everything had an excellent flavor and was made with fresh ingredients. I loved it. They have a small bit nice area inside then have a few tables in the raised sidewalk. This place is absolutely worth a visit.“

“One of the best Sichuan spots I’ve tried recently. The food tastes very authentic and every dish came out full of flavor.

The Leshan Beef (跷脚牛肉) was definitely the highlight for me — the broth was rich and comforting, the beef was super tender, and the flavors were layered in a really traditional way. The 毛血旺 was also excellent: spicy, numbing, and packed with ingredients, but still balanced instead of just pure heat. You can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing.

We also liked how fast the dishes came out even though the restaurant was busy. Service was friendly and the atmosphere felt lively and casual, great for family dinners or eating with friends.

“Hidden gem just absolutely phenomenal. Great prices, amazing food, incredible service. Banh Mi was huge, incredibly tasty, and only $8!!! High quality fillings, very flavorful, better than most banh mi I've had. Outdoor seating is beautiful. Wonderful atmosphere. Love!!!!“

“Visited last week for dinner and ordered the Bird's Nest. I placed and paid for my order at the kiosk. When the food is ready you get a text message on your phone. Within 10 minutes the food was ready and it was nice and hot for a cold night. Also, it appears you can order on their website for pickup.“

The crispy pork skin and fried shallots added a delightful crunch that complemented the bánh beo exceptionally well.While the Bún Bò Huế was good, I felt it could benefit from a deeper flavor profile. “I was surprised to see a location outside of a mall or a supermarket. The food itself isn't bad, but the rice bowls are a bit bland all across the board. Great if you want to load up on cheap carbs, but otherwise it's better off being in a food court.“

“I ordered two teriyaki chicken plate on UberEats. I had the option of white or brown rice, two side orders, and a sauce. For the sides I choose cucumber salad and vegetable egg rolls. For the sauce I choose their spicy special sauce (base seems like it’s mayo, sriracha, and their special blend of spices.

The rice was topped with cabbage and chicken. The chicken tasted similar to Hawaiian bbq rather than teriyaki. Chicken was moist. The cucumbers were refreshing. The vegetable egg rolls had good flavor and seasonings, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Overall, I thought the portion size was good, was pretty full off the plate. Chicken had a nice flavor to it. Note this place is a ghost kitchen.“

“Ordered Crispy mapo tofu as appetizers, green beand and broccolini wok fry and vegetables dumpling in hot and sour soup.
All of them are.appetizer size. Between two of us, felt comfortably full. Green beans fry on the saltier side for our taste. Otherwise all the dishes are good.
Sat on the outside dining area, it was pleasant for end of September.“

Pleasant eating area inside that I’ve enjoyed a few time but typically take my meals to go. Conveniently located near campus. Can’t go wrong with the OG TK!!!“
