“This place is great, service is fast a food is so delicious. I had the big scallop, unagi and avacdo roll, volcano roll and the lobster roll.
The big scallop was my favorite, and I highly suggest if you enjoy baked rolls. Unagi and avacdo was my next favorite, just a great combination I've never had on its own.
This place has a variety of selection when it comes to rolls. It will be a few visits before I can try them all.“

“AMAZING service! The server was fast and super nice. The food came out quick and was delicious! This was my first time trying ramen here and it’s definitely NOT the last. I would recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere was so quiet but not awkward and the design of the restaurant was top tier.“

“Food was excellent. My brother and I ordered the Ramen combo with skewers. Each came with a free milk tea and almond tofu dessert. (We didn't realize the milk tea and almond tofu came with our meal. The server was very attentive to detail and made sure all our needs were met. Only gripe was it seemed that the chicken skewer only had sauce and wasn't seasoned. The mustard greens on the ramen was a nice touch to cut the richness of the broth. Will definitely come back 😁“

“Very refined modern takes on Japanese food. The food is first class, service is great, and love the sake! Considering the incredible quality of the food, the price is very reasonable. If all you want is your typical California Rolls ect, this is not the place. You get a wonderful Omakase menu here. Definitely recommend Soho for those looking for great, and non-typical Japanese food.“

“It's small, so the wait for a dine in table can take a bit, but the food quality is worth the wait. Our family has loved everything we have tried. this is one of a handful of local restaurants my 10 year old some will never complain about!“

“Demiya has been (and still is) one of my favorite Japanese curry spots in the S.F. Bay Area, and I'm glad that the Fremont location opened so it's now a 15 minute drive rather than 30+. It's a little hidden in the food court of Ranch 99, but that makes it convenient to sit down for a meal and then get groceries afterwards (as they say, never shop hungry haha.)
Personally, I rotate between the chicken katsu curry rice, the menchi katsu curry rice, and the vegetable curry! It's not a Kanazawa style curry - it's not as thick, and has a more complex mix of flavors (in my opinion), which means you don't get tired of it. The fried toppings have been consistently juicy, and the price is very amenable as well! Service is decently fast, and overall is a good choice when you need a quick meal out! The space is counter serve, so it’s relatively sparse on decor, but it’s clean, functional, and well lit.
(The onigiris are also good for a snack at home too. I've taken to getting one or two now and then to enjoy later)“

“Wadaya hasn't left my mind yet. I love that the noodles are thicker than Kajiken. It makes for a chewier bite which I prefer. I'd say the taste is similar to Kajiken but maybe the flavor at Kajiken is a bit better. I definitely like the noodles here more. The absolute star of the show is the tiny scoop of rice they give you at the end to mix in with your extra sauce. I wasn't a believer at first until I actually tried it. Best bite ever. Holy.“

“We love coming here as a family. The staff are very kid-friendly. The food is good, although the traditional sushi are better than that modern ones. Their traditional sushi and sashimi are very good.Our kids ask to go to Satomi all the time!“

“Loved the sushi here - the fish is high quality, price is good for the quality of the fish, and the ambiance is nice: clean, spacious and brightly lit.
Highly recommend the omakase: 10 pieces for $46. The presentation of the nigiri was excellent and it was all delicious.“

“I don't normally leave any kind of review, but this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. First, food - what you come for - is top notch... they buy fresh fish, not frozen, to serve. Best simple tekka-don I've had in the SF area (including SF, Berkeley, and SJ). Second, atmosphere: it's a small Japan-style bistro... very pleasant and not overdone. Third, the staff: very friendly... it feels like a family business. The location is off the beaten path in a small plaza off Paseo Padre in Fremont. But it's totally worth going out of the way for.“

Located across from Ohlone College so there was almost no lunchtime crowd. I was told that the busy time is after 3 PM when the students will come to eat. The place was clean and the food was OK. The service was good. I would say a solid four stars.“
“Osaka Marketplace, Fremont
Service is always great and they have a great selection of pre-made meals! They have a small food court located on the side of the supermarket, very convenient to sit down and eat.
I usually come here for their fresh rolls, Japanese bento plates and onigiris. Although still fresh, their deals for their 20% off are always a steal. I thought it was a weekday deal but found out it's daily and around 5pm.
I ended up getting their Mr. Crazy Roll which consist of sashimi salmon and uni over California rolls. It was delicious! 😋
I always love coming here for their beauty products and anything cute like Hello Kitty or random lunch bags.
A friend had asked me if they accepted EBT and currently no, they don't accept EBT as payment.
Would return and highly recommend this place!“

“I'm glad that Fremont has an AYCE sushi spot. This place's menu offers not just sushi rolls, but also a variety of appetizers, nigiri, handrolls, ramen, and even ice cream. Service is what you would expect from an AYCE place, and this place is medium in size, so there might be a weight for a table if you go during peak hours.
My tip to you - go with a group so that you can try more rolls and not get full off one on your own haha. My favorite was the nigiri only because it comes with 2 pieces and not too much rice, so it's easier to sample more. Aside from the nigiri, the Shio Saba (salted, grilled mackerel) was also a favorite of mine, so much, I ordered a second one lol.
Our favorites:
* Shio Saba
* Nigiri - spicy garlic tuna, unagi, mackerel, cajun albacore
* Salmon Handroll
* Carpaccio - albacore w crispy garlic
For AYCE, this place gets the job done.“

“I am trying to give everything in this neighborhood plaza a go. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by amazing poke in Japantown, or maybe I came on a bad day, but this was the worst poke I’ve had. This fish looked not fresh and the mixings were odd. But the storefront is cozy and decorated well, and this neighborhood desperately needs a non-Asian lunch spot, so I will give them a go again..“

“The seafood salad here was delicious, and the salmon skin was baked to a perfect crisp – it was fantastic!
The bento box took a little longer to arrive, but the salmon was grilled perfectly, although the tempura was cold .
Service is friendly and fast !“

“Got a gyudon bowl from the donut shop, seems like it was a little heavy on the mirin but it was ok. Donuts were fine too. Also got some salt and pepper chicken this one unfortunately wasn't very good(not spicy at all, not really even much salt on it. Kinda bland). Also tried a strawberry macha latte from the coffee shop and that was good. Service is a little weird, you just order from kiosks off to the side and then it's like a weird 3 card monte where you pick up your food from since it's obvious all 3 places share the same kitchen with the same guy popping out from behind all 3 curtains periodically. Also the rice bowls from the donut shop seems a bit pricey for the quantity.“
“I got the banana matcha, the banana definitely overpowered the matcha like at most other places. I couldn’t really taste the matcha, so it was basically a banana drink, but it was still really good! I think this is a good spot to come study/work at.“

“Absolutely loved this place! They start you off with free edamame, and it was so good I devoured the entire bowl in 4 minutes flat. For the main event, the Mango Secret Roll and the Secret Love Roll were incredibly tasty and fresh.
They have basketball playing on the TV in the corner, which gives the place a nice, casual vibe. Service can be a little on the slower side, but the food is absolutely worth the wait. Will definitely be back!“
