“Love this place. The food is good. The complimentary edamame and ice cream are such a nice treat. Good for large parties. We had 12 people with lots of kids and there was plenty of space. The best part was they knew how to split the bill since we had 4 families without us asking.“

“Overall, I really enjoyed the tsukemen and it definitely satisfied my craving. The pork was tender with the perfect amount of fattiness, and I especially loved the bamboo shoots.

There are two things I think could make the tsukemen a solid 5/5. First, the dipping broth could be thicker and more concentrated. It had great umami flavor, but because it was a little too soupy, the sauce didn’t cling to the noodles as well as I’d like. One of my favorite things about tsukemen in Japan is how that rich, concentrated broth coats every bite of noodles.

Second, the noodles themselves had great texture—firm and perfectly al dente—but they broke apart very easily. By the end, I had a lot of tiny broken noodle pieces, some only about half an inch long. That’s something I rarely experience with tsukemen noodles in Japan, where they tend to stay long and intact throughout the meal.

That said, the flavors were there and I left satisfied. If they could thicken up the dipping broth and improve the noodles so they hold together better, this would easily be a 5-star tsukemen for me.“

If all you want is your typical California Rolls ect, this is not the place. You get a wonderful Omakase menu here. “Stopped by for dinner after work. The fish tasted fresh and the rolls were put together well without falling apart. Service was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. I haven't tried enough of the menu to recommend specific dishes yet, but based on this visit I'd definitely come back.“

“My friend and I got the Mentaiko soupless ramen, shishito peppers, takowasa, squid legs tempura and the hokkaido crepe. Everything was delicious. Ramen was rich and creamy with a hint of spiciness. Our appetizers were all delicious, flavorful and the squid legs were so crispy. I love the texture from the takowasa, crunchy and had a chew to it. Our servers were very sweet and helpful. I will definitely come back here if I visit again.“

“Yes, yes, yes! Love this Japanese curry place. Casual place in a food court inside Ranch 99. I love the pork tonkatsu, the pork is not dry, it is very moist, the japanese curry is not spicy, love the price, everything comes hot, and tastes delicious. This place is close to my kids' basketball, and because it is in a food court, different people can order different things. Great service, great food, reasonable price. GREAT“

“I rarely write reviews but this is an absolute gem - very cozy neighborhood spot in Fremont. I’ve lived in major cities (SF, NYC, London) and eaten a lot of Japanese food - and the quality of the food here is on par if not better.

Very friendly nice staff. Anna started a convo and they’ve been open 30 years, old fashioned style (no food delivery hustle and bustle). She seems close with other customers (asking about and congratulating re: college admissions).

The food was homestyle but also polished for great value- $30 for 3 item dinner combo comes with soup and salad, $3 extra for chirashi appetizer. Veggies with the grilled items were a nice touch, and the rice was cooked well.

Will definitely become a regular spot, it should become one of yours too!“

Lion king roll - warm sweet bliss in each bite

Demon roll - fresh clean and wonderful flavor that forces you to slow down and enjoy it

“My husband and I absolutely LOVE Stardust Coffee House! It has quickly become one of our favorite coffee spots. My sister-in-law recommended the espresso iced latte with almond milk and banana cold foam, and WOW — it is seriously delicious! 🍌☕ We keep coming back for it.

The customer service is always wonderful. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and friendly every time we come in.

And you HAVE to try the Peanut Butter Passion Toast! It will not disappoint. The bread is perfectly crisp on the outside while still soft and chewy, and the whole combination is incredibly delicious.
