“This place is SO GOOD! Some of the best sushi I've had in the area. HIGHLY recommend. Rolls are amazing and filling. We got (from left to right) the Honey Walnut roll, Baked California Roll, Monster Roll, Hot Momma roll, and Lion King. All were PHENOMENAL.Vegetarian options: They have a few different rolls without fish.Parking: Easy and free parking.“
“Small place with about 6 tables. We went for lunch on Sunday and there was a short wait. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table, water and hot tea are available to serve yourself. WOW! The rolls are HUGE and very reasonably priced for the size. I love the menu with a large variety of rolls, sauces and combinations to try. Most importantly the fish was fresh and everything we ordered was delicious. I definitely recommend the Phoenix roll. This is not close to home for me, but I'll go out of my way to come here for my sushi fix.“
“I heard that this place opened recently, which is about 1.5 years now. The place looks alright since that’s how a Japanese restaurant typically looks like especially if it’s small.I was quite surprised how big the serving size is from the Chicken Teriyaki dinner plate (didn’t finish it). No wonder it’s expensive. The food tastes fresh and nice, but I honestly believe that they should lessen the salt of the edamame. Also like the taste of sashimi and California Roll.“
“Awesome place for dinner! The server was really nice and honest with his responses to my order.I was alone so he gave me suggestions on how to not over-order, fully knowing that the more expensive meal I ordered, the more his tip would be (based on 15% of the order total).I tipped him well anyway because I appreciated it very much!“
“Just changed ownership so now it's pretty much just a restaurant. No more grocery business. I think you can still get already prepared rolls and sushi but I went late dinner time and they didn't have anything in the case. You can still order anything on the menu though. I had the Alaska Roll which was crab meat inside with salmon outside. Pretty tasty and it seemed fresh. I hope they do well but their location is a challenge as it's tucked in the back of a slow shopping strip. And the vibe of the place isn't really conducive for eating in imo.“
“I was there with my family last Monday(2/12/24) around 3 pm. The servers name I do not remember but I would like to write this review for her, after I accidentally spilled a cup of water she was quick to help us out to clean the table and moved us to another table and assisted with transferring everything for us. She was very welcoming and with great customer service and attentiveness. The food was 10/10, and being a new resident to Fremont, we found our go-to sushi spot. I can't wait to go back.“
“SooooGood! Food is so fresh and delicious. Customer service is perfect!I ordered Ton Katsu and it was crunchy outside and still very moist and delicious inside.Salmon sashimi is very fresh and the portion is perfect and filling. Truly authentic Japanese flavour. Will make sure to stop by next time when we go to Fremont!“
“We came here for our family Easter lunch and glad that we were seated right away. We opted the table with stone grill for yakiniko, since we can also order sushi there if we want to. We opted for the Omakase Stone Grill Meat for 2-4 persons. It came with wagyu beefs, toro, short rib galbis, prawns, squids, pork belly cuts and sausages. The set also came with wagyu beef clay pot rice. We also ordered miso soups and ahi poke salad for starters. I think the portions were generous and the food tasted great. Clay pot rice was mom’s favorite, though it wasn’t served in a clay pot so no crispy rice on the bottom like I was expecting. Our server was very nice and attentive without being disruptive. Definitely would go back again. However, a constructive criticism for the management. Pls keep your floors and bathroom clean at all times. It was just 12 noon and floor was filthy and bathroom smelled like puke. These are what customers usually notice and will judge the cleanliness of the entire restaurant!“
“Place is amazing. Get the omakase or anything else. The fish tastes fresh cause I hope it is. Try the Hokkaido scallops. They are MASSIVE! delicious. Tastes like you are surfing on the ocean. Truly an exhilarating experience. Price point was like $18, Japanese import, it was a special occasion. Next the chirashi. Every bite was amazing. Look at the chunks. You can't get any better than this. After bed of rice at the bottom. Just sooooo good. Like, there is no need to explain this but look how beautiful laid out the fish is. Don't you just want to gobble that up like it's Japanese thanksgiving? My goodness. For this, I'd go back in a heartbeat. I think this was around $30 give or take? Omakase. Wow. Unique fish. They don't really explain what the fish are like at the high end fancy spots, but they will give you bursts of different flavors. Everything tastes different and delicious! It's an experience for sure. About $50 for all of that fish Only downside we experienced here is that I wouldn't recommend the amami special roll. If you can see the avocados on the exterior was extremely thin. The amount of crab was very minimal... and there wasn't a whole lot of eel that we could taste... EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AMAZING!“
“It's a very popular place in Fremont, love their sushi and their special rolls. The staff are nice and friendly but unfortunately, it's very busy at weekends and ordering food for pickup takes at least an hour since they don't have enough staff for all the orders.I recommend Dragon, Crazy and Tokyo rolls“
“I keep coming back to Satomi when craving sea food. My experience has been great and consistent. I’m please with the freshness and quality of fish served here. I appreciate the effort behind preparing these delicacy’s. My experience is inspired by the Thornton Location in Fremont Ca.“
“Great atmosphere. We ordered gluten free. There was a little confusion in the beginning which was sorted out quickly.Friendly staff. Great service and food.Uni was not available today. I am definitely coming back to eat here. Great food for affordable priceParking: Easy“
“We came to eat at a time when there were less crowds. We ordered beef brisket ramen, barbecue beef and barbecue tripe. The ramen soup tastes really good. The fragrance is rich and not greasy,The texture of the ramen is also quite perfect.I personally think the beef brisket is a bit soft.BBQ part,I quite like their BBQ tripe,The seasoning and the taste of the tripe are quite good. However, the seasoning part of the overall barbecue,If the salt ratio is not so high,I think it’s perfect!“
“Quite spacious like the other location. The rolls here were quite filling and the service was great. We had the flaming dragon roll, lion king roll, and the Philadelphia roll. They are my top three rolls to get because this place tends to be consistent with them. The rolls come with miso soup as starter and that’s a nice little touch this place adds.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibile“
“Went to lunch with my grandma here. Service was good and food was yummy. We had the Stir Fried Rice Noodle, the Braised Minced Pork with Rice Bento Box, the Beef Burritos, the Sticky Rice Cake with Red Bean Paste, and the Sticky Rice Cake with Sweet Potato. The English translation doesn't always translate to what it actually is, but everything was delicious. The Braised Mince Pork with Rice Bento Box doesn't actually come in a Bento Box. It comes in a big bowl with pork floss, a braised egg, a braised tofu, and veggies (today's was egg and tomato and fried cabbage). This was my favorite dish. It was very flavorful. The place is on the corner of a shopping center. Doesn't look like much, but the food is delicious, the portions are good sized, and the price is reasonable for the area. Would recommend!“
“My wife and I had a nice dinner at Yuki this evening. We have been going there for years and met the new sushi chef who was very friendly and skilled. We had nigiri sushi, a variety of hand rolls and maki, as well as seaweed salad. All were fresh and delicious. The service was excellent with a relaxing ambiance.“
“As soon as I sat down at the table, I received free fries and green beans. Today, I ordered a dinner box that included pork cutlet and Godzilla rolls with my friend. First of all, I was surprised by the amount of food, and the food was so delicious that I ate everything even though I was full. This is my third visit to this restaurant and I think I’ll be a regular customer. I‘m very happy with the service and I was charged just $35. Totally satisfied! Cost-effective restaurant!!“
