Food to price ratio is an issue but I came here on my own will, not gona knock them on this. Bill comes, server say 18% and I'm like what? Nowhere on menu and or sign on door mentioning minimum 18% and for max pain, the suggested 18% is calculated with the tax. I didn't follow her 18% suggestion, I didn't follow suggested 18% on receipt, I did 15% off subtotal and call it a day. Ymmv, enjoy.
Never disappointed every time visiting this authentic Japanese restaurant. Loved the food, and the atmosphere too. Highly recommended!
I rarely write reviews but this is an absolute gem - very cozy neighborhood spot in Fremont. I’ve lived in major cities (SF, NYC, London) and eaten a lot of Japanese food - and the quality of the food here is on par if not better.
Very friendly nice staff. Anna started a convo and they’ve been open 30 years, old fashioned style (no food delivery hustle and bustle). She seems close with other customers (asking about and congratulating re: college admissions).
