“Food was great and the staff was super friendly (especially Xing)! We got the chirashi, a hellboy roll, dragon roll, spicy tuna hand roll, and the otoro nigiri. The fish was fresh and the rolls were delicious. Also love when the shrimp tempura in a roll is crispy and this one nailed it. Will definitely return!“

“Great selection on food + sauces, and service is decent, though they looked like quite busy so expect some delays. The individual pot is a great idea especially if hygiene is a concern. The meat on the picture may look quite different from the actual meat, but taste is the same. Fried food is ok and I prefer save the space for hotpot. The sesame ball is a must have as finisher.“

“Got some takeout, and they were so generous with the portions! Everything tasted amazing. The Tonkatsu was a massive hit with the kids, and the Jjolmyeon was the perfect hidden gem of the meal. We kept saying, 'If the takeout is this phenomenal, imagine how crazy good it would be at the actual restaurant.' Our minds are officially blown“

“A Hidden Gem That Keeps on Giving
Torarenbou Sushi Bistro has absolutely earned a permanent spot on my regular rotation, and I can’t recommend it enough.
Let’s start with the Beef Udon — it was superb. Rich, deeply savory broth, tender beef, and perfectly cooked noodles. The kind of bowl that makes you close your eyes on the first slurp. A must-order even if you’re there for sushi.
Speaking of sushi — the quality here is genuinely impressive. Fresh, clean fish and thoughtfully assembled rolls. My personal favorites are the Salmon Avocado Roll (classic done right — buttery salmon, creamy avocado, perfect ratio every time) and The Gambler, which lives up to its name in the best possible way. Every bite feels like a reward.
And then there’s the wasabi situation. I won’t spoil it entirely, but let’s just say you might think you’re grabbing something else and get a surprise little kick. It’s a fun, cheeky moment that perfectly captures the personality of this place — playful, confident, and clearly having fun with the menu.
The food speaks for itself, but the overall experience is warm and welcoming too. Whether you’re there for a quick solo lunch or a full dinner spread, Torarenbou delivers every time.“

“Good food, friendly service, fun times. But when your table is done, move your crew along so others can also enjoy it!! We waited extensively even with a reservation. It stresses the staff and the system and prevents the restaurant from serving more patrons!“
