Hanabi Sushi Pleasanton Reviews
Bad service waitress staff will argue with you when you say I ordered chicken karaage not veggie tempura mix and not take it back even before it hits the table. Food is decent if you just get the sushi. Chicken finally came out it was frozen in the middle and raw. Give them another shot at it and the waitress wants to watch me eat it this time after she just brought it out like she wants to see my burn my mouth. I say it’s okay I trust you I wait 5 min to eat it and man it’s...read full review

Hanabi Sushi Pleasanton is a popular sushi spot with phenomenal food that keeps customers coming back, even from three hours away. The tempura is perfectly light and crispy, often called the best in a long time. Popular rolls include the Marilyn Monroe roll, Red Dragon, Dancing Spicy Rainbow, 49’er Roll, Yellow Dragon, Soju roll, and Victoria’s Secret roll—every single one is delicious. The Chef's Choice Sashimi, Jin's Choice No. 2, and Uni are also recommended, with all seafood tasting very fresh and clean. The presentation is beautiful. Service can vary; one visit had a phenomenal fun nice friendly waitress, while another was less friendly. The ambiance is dark and welcoming. The Salmon teriyaki dinner entree portion is small but filling when combined with rice, California rolls, and soup. Customers advise arriving just before the dinner rush, as the restaurant could use a bigger location with more seating. The price is as good as the food.
