Intimate sushi restaurant in downtown Pleasanton. The food is excellent. Serving good quality fresh fish. The staff are attentive and nice. There's a reason why they have been around for many years!
Very tasty sushi rolls, especially liked Hanabi roll and rainbow roll. Waitress was good at making suggestions, especially on the sake we tried. Don't know sake much, but enjoyed her suggestion.
Food was good but pricy, except chicken teriyaki, which is dry.

The goal was to go get some Thai food, but we stumbled upon this Sushi spot. before I go in, I had to look up the reviews and the reviews were 4.5 so I went in for a try. Upon entry I was immediately greeted by the entire staff everyone speaks and acknowledges you upon entry and departure. So of course, I always have to try something different, so I found something different which was grilled edamame I don't know how to explain this, but it was fabulous & flavorful I had to order another one. I did order some Sushi which was fresh and tasty as well. I definitely recommend this establishment if you're in the area looking for Sushi. There are a lot of big box restaurants in the area, but nothing beats the mom & pops small establishment, AWESOME.

The flambéed food had a visually impressive presentation but the taste was just fine. The sushi roll inside was a bit over-charred. The other dishes tasted quite good.
