“Starting off with the aesthetics of the place, it’s really modern with a clean minimalistic style, it also has a Mumu tea bar on the side and also a sauce bar to make your own sauces for the meats. 5/5 on the place itself

The food is also great. It’s has pretty reasonable prices as you are paying for quality meat and also lots of side dishes. Really good options for the soup bases, personally I love the tom yum soup base. It has a mix of sweet and a kick of spiciness with it. Additionally I got the iced matcha here too, it comes filled to the brim, the matcha is very smooth, creamy and not too sweet or too bitter with matcha. It has a really similar taste when I went to Korea for matcha. 5/5 on food and drinks.

Customer service is great here too, staff were very attentive with service such as checking up, water refills, adding more soup, getting the bill, etc. 5/5 on the service

Overall, if you haven’t tried this place, it’s definitely one of the top places to grab some hotpot. Great service and food here.“

“BEST BANH KHOT IN TOWN!

Let me say it again, louder for the ones in the back.

THEY HAVE THE BEST BANH KHOT IN TOWN.

Most people come here for hot pot and sleep on the appetizers, so I’m writing this review to encourage you all to try these:
- Banh Khot (better than all the Hue restaurants out there)
- Chicken cartilage (excellent batter, light, crispy, and flavorful)
- Chicken wings with fish sauce
- Steamed clams with basil (make sure you taste the broth. We always drink ours.)

“Shabutime was such a great experience and easily one of the best Japanese hot pot spots I’ve been to so far.

This was my second time ever doing hot pot and my first time trying a Japanese-style hot pot, and it completely changed my perspective. Everything felt very organized and easy to follow, which made the whole experience way more enjoyable.

We ordered the beef toro belly and the seafood combo, which came with a full spread of vegetables. For broths, we went with the yukisaki and spicy Sichuan, and both were really well balanced and flavorful without being overwhelming. We also added vermicelli and udon noodles, which soaked up the broth perfectly.

What stood out to me was how satisfying the meal actually was. I’ve done hot pot before and left feeling like I didn’t really eat enough or get the full experience, but that was not the case here. Everything felt complete and well thought out.

They also have a solid selection of sauces and add-ons, which really let you customize each bite.

Overall, super impressed with the quality, the setup, and how smooth the whole experience was. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.“

“A hidden gem that has yet to be fully discovered by our Bay Area society. The staff was so welcoming and I left with a smile on my face and hands on my tummy from how full I was (in the best way possible.) Will 100% be coming back here and bringing my family.“

“I really enjoyed my visit to Oc Lau Nuong Restaurant. The seafood was fresh, especially the grilled oysters and hot pot, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was lively and perfect for eating with family or friends.

“I ordered Taiwanese Supreme Spicy one with mild spice which is not spicy, taste so good. They offered free iced green tea, its refill. I went there lunchtime so there’s a line. It comes with rice or vermicelli. Potion is good, can be shared by two people.“

“my #1 favorite thing abouf this place is how kind the staff are! they are all soo patient and welcoming and explain everything amazingly :) i genuinely recommended this place as my favorite hotpot spot for that one reason. ive only tried the kimchi broth so far but its so tasty, it'll be hard to top that broth for me but i'd like to try the others, there's a wide variety! the revolving belt containing all the add-ons is fun and unique, some things i remember from there are the noodles, tteokboki, octopus, and much more seafood. i think the meat is all good quality. love this place! crave it all the time“

“Really enjoyed the food here. It's a little confusing if you've never done anything like this before. Our waiter explained nothing to us other than how to order. He seemed more attentive to other tables than ours. I also couldn't get past the fact that our booth chair wasn't nailed to the ground any movement on either side moved both sides. I actually had the woman behind me confront me because I kept moving our table and I apologized because I obviously wasn't intending to move their chairs. It made everything else more difficult including cooking our food, ordering, etc. Hope they can work on this stuff.“

“Having traversed a variety of shabu places, this one will scratch your Japananese shabu shabu (hot pot) itch. Great quality meat, a variety of veggies, and tasty broths. There's just enough variety to not be overwhelming.
