“Always a phenomenal time here. Constant quality of food and service. The only knock is it's a little smaller and not easy to accommodate larger parties. But the staff here is always amazing and as accommodating as much as possible. My favorite Shabu restaurant in the South Bay.“

“Food was great with a really cool atmosphere to be around. Order the" pork belly with rice and egg". The place is really unique with the way you have to stir/cook food on your own. The meats and veggies being fresh ready to be cooked on the mini stove. Staff was really nice and helpful with any questions we had. Just need to be wary of keeping an eye on your food so it doesn't burn or overcook. Can ruin the entire meal.“
“I have indulged in a late lunch at Tabu Shabu twice. The staff did a great job of describing the options and preparation process, after learning it was my first visit. They checked in several times to ensure things were going well and offered advice. There are a variety of protein options and the vegetables gave "farm to table vibes." The meat was high-quality and the ponzu dipping sauce was delicious.Parking: The parking directly in front of the restaurant is small and crowded.“
“Service was great, very attentive and quick. The people were very nice. It was very causal and felt very family oriented. The food was good, but not quite my cup of tea. The hot pot we ate had great selection and variety , seafood was good. However I prefer my soup to be more salty and sour, not as sweet . My friends all loved it, just not my preference“
“Amazing! Came here to eat because my aunt recommended it to me. Never knew such a good individual hot pot spot was here all along. I love how deep the flavor is for the mala pot soup. It is a bit on the salty side, but I really love that to eat with the rice. I can tell the quality of the meat is really good because of how tender it is. Each pot is loaded and the price is reasonable. You HAVE to ask for their dipping sauce, it is the best thing ever. Service is amazing and I would definitely be coming back here again soon. Also, CASH ONLY!“
“Didn't realize there was a Boiling Point in the Bay Area. Only had BP when I was living in Seattle. We ordered:#3 korean bean paste soup#6 milk cream curry without creamI consistently order the curry hot pot. I thought the Seattle location was a bit better, but it was still good.Green tea was on the sweeter side.Staff is friendly. Comparing to Seattle BP locations, I would prefer Seattle, but when I have a craving for BP, this will do the trick!Parking spots are tight, but shouldn't an issue to find in the large plaza.“
“The Thai didn't come with coconut so it automatically rates lower for me than other places. However, the spice level was significantly better than other places. I would say it actually gets to 1/5 of a Thai-eye chili. Service was still cheeks, maybe that's just standard for places like this.“
“I finally Got to try this restaurant after many attempts. There store hours on Google/yelp is different from actual store hours and that's the reason why I'm deducting 1 star. The 2 times I attempted to eat here they said the kitchen was closed.. but anywho! The food is soooo good here! We got their Bo Ne, Grilled mussels and seafood hotpot and all I have to say is wow. Everything was so flavorful and filling. Including all the dipping sauces they provide. The server was a younger girl with blonde hair, she was super sweet and attentive. This particular location has changed owners too many times in the last 10 years but I hope this business sticks around for a while. Definitely recommend Oc Lau Nuong.“
“It's one of my local hotspots. I've been eating here since pre Covid. Good thing the business survived because this place has the hot Mongolian beef broth that I like. It's not too thick and not too much. Just enough portion for 1 person. Overall service is good. They have milk tea also. Recommended the England milk tea.“
“4.5/5 Everything here was cooked perfectly! Genuinely surprised how everything I ordered was cooked right, not overcooked nor undercooked. I ordered the snails, crawfish, shrimp, clams, and bo ne, and I'm impressed. I asked for a rare steak and they delivered. The only reason I knocked 0.5 from the overall score is because the service. Our server wasn't really attentive and slow at bringing out our needs. But otherwise, worth checking out this place if you're in the area. P.S. ambiance reminds me of Vietnamese late night drinking places.“
“The savory broths and solid meat cuts offer a delightful shabu shabu experience that's well worth the wait in line. All you can eat was reasonably priced for the quality, the atmosphere is simple yet inviting. Service is efficient and friendly, ensuring a satisfying dining adventure“
“Some of the best hot pot I’ve had! I love the selection of vegetables and their quality was very fresh. The meat and broth were tasty. The portions were very generous too! I’ll be coming back!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies and tofu on the menu!“
“I came here with a group of 7 people with a reservation. We didn't have to wait for the table at all, and the service was excellent. A couple dishes we ordered didn't show up, but it was all you can eat and we ordered a lot, so it's understandable. It came out to $70 per person (inc. $80 tip) with the all you can eat BBQ, hot pot, some premium meat, and 2 carafes of soju.“
“I was so pleased with the service and the quality of the food that I received from Phuong Nam Restaurant. They went above and beyond to perfect each of the items that I ordered. I was very impressed with the follow up and It was exactly what I was hoping for.“
“Hits the spot every time. My wife and I frequent this restaurant and bring friends and family often as well. They never disappoint us. I have yet to completely finish a regular (generous) portion, but I also order the Ramen noodle extra. We prefer the Beef and Tomato soup but have tried others and they are also good. Each bowl/pot comes with a plentiful assortment of veggies, seafood and meat. They even have boba tea and it's great!“
“Been there a couple of times in the last few weeks and Sebastian always gives us a warm welcome with a very cheerful smile and gets us a quick walkthrough of the available options ( barbecue, hot bowl etc) and once its our turn (highly recommend checking in online via the Yelp reservation) we get to the table and are ready to eat some yum and delicious KBBQ.The hosts/servers have always been phenomenal. Once you get to the table, you can walk over to the sauce station placed towards the end next to the kitchen to gather a few of your choice. I usually end up ordering a lot of sea food options (calamari, octopus, salmon, shrimp etc) and keep repeating the same to my heart's content. I have been told the other options with beef are very well prepared as well and all in all its just an amazing experience which i would definitely recommend!!!“
“My go-to for goat hot pot. It's much much better than places I've been to Vietnam. Their Canadian snail is tasty as well. This is definitely a place I go to for comfort food once a month. Service is great. Staff is always very friendly.Kid-friendliness: Food is not spicy, kids can definitely tag along with their family“
“The four of us went here tonight for dinner. We were 25 minutes late but they seated us anyway. The parking lot looked pretty full but we managed to grab a spot. They had all our favorite Hot pot. Ingredients: shrimp paste, veggies, assorted tofu, a ginormous lamb and beef platter ring, etc. we really like the house special bone broth, but the spicy special House broth was pretty spicy.Service was really fast and efficient.Vibe was pretty young with club music playing in the background. We got a basket of deep fried pork which was apparently recommended but I was so full. I could hardly eat more than a few pieces.Overall great price would come here again.p“
