“This was my first time visiting Fiery Hot Pot. I was part of a 4-top party going in just after 6pm on a Sunday evening, without a reservation. We were promptly seated within 5-minutes upon arriving! The ambience is pleasant and modern, the layout with open seating tables and booths provide an option for guests to have either more intimate or informal dining scenarios. Considering you are likely to be sharing hot pot entrees, you may want to be secluded with your party or share in the delight of creating your very own version of hot pot soup making. As one of my party guests remarked, it is analogous to a "choose your own adventure game"! Which I believe is both an appropriate comparison and worthy of a chuckle. The service was prompt and courteous. We were given options to choose either the 2-meat option with 6-a la carte tapas to choose from (each), or the unlimited option. We went the route of each ordering our own 2-meats. We each chose a variation of Wagyu beef cuts, chicken breast, pork belly, and premium pork options for our respective 2-meat orders. We chose the roasted tomato and pork broth options for the soup, mild and non-spicy respectively for the spice options. As we waited for the soups to arrive, we proceeded to select our tapas to add to or adjoin our hot pot entree. The tapas offered are extensive and include a variety of greens including kale, purple sweet potato, assortments of mushrooms, vermicelli, udon, ramen, iterations of tofu, aromatics including chives, ginger, garlic, and plenty of sauces. The choices left me feeling resplendent! The tapas were chosen, artfully and dutifully. We were ready for our sumptuous soup slurping! It was delicious! We all enjoyed our meat selections and the tapas provided many twists and turns to our hunger-inspired adventure. The story evolving with each passing minute, as the soup and its story revealed its ever increasing rich flavor, the water evaporating slowly as the intensity of our added characters of meats and sides created tension and release for our main characters, our taste buds! It sure was a grand story. The meal's adventure came to an enchanting ending as we were given the option of either vanilla ice cream or a small glass of coconut Jell-O. Both provided a delightful resolution to that evening's quest. The belly's dragon being tamed, we claimed victory with the aid of Fiery Hot Pot!“
“I traveled to San Francisco with 31 high school students and 2 other teachers. Happy Shabu Shabu graciously hosted our large group and we had an amazing meal here. Many had never tried Shabu Shabu and we had an enjoyable time. The service was amazing! 10/10 recommend!“
“We were in the neighborhood and stumbled upon DNM Hot Pot. Inside the restaurant was very spacious and the service was quite fast. Never had Mongolian hotpot before so was very stoked to try. Opted for half special spicy lamb and half mushroom and that was the perfect combo! Would definitely come back for more!“
“It was outstanding! The staff was very attentive and the food was very affordable. I found the quality of the food to be very high.Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the restaurant was turned up very high (date: April 3, 2024), which is why it was very cold when we sat down.Since we wanted to book an Uber for our way home and there was no wifi available, the waiter was kind enough to give us hotspot. Very very friendly and accommodating.Clear recommendation!Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, I didn't see whether there was a lift, but please note that you have to go up one floor to the restaurant.“
“Staff were super attentive and helpful. We were told to order mild level of spicy and were greatful for the suggestion, as that was plenty spicy for our group. Also their vegan mushroom broth was so flavorful we took some home! Quality was really fresh and I would reccomend this place to my friends as well as plan on coming back!Vegetarian options: Their mushroom stock is super flavorful and an excellent option for everyone!“
“We go to Boiling Hot Pot atleast 1x/month. It’s our go to spot for almost every occasion whether happy or sad. ? We went here for my wife’s graduation and for when I had a bad day and needed a venting session. We almost always get mango soju. My mother-in-law and I always drink unfiltered Sake when we all got together. It’s like a family tradition now.We usually pick out 4 favorite soup bases (Tom Yum, Red Pepper, Green Pepper, and Tomato). We LOVE their sauce station! It’s so customizable but my favorite is their first recommendation. My wife loves their green sauce and their mushroom sauce with spicy chili garlic. We always order a bunch of vegetables and wagyu beef. We always leave super stuffed and so satisfied. Unfortunately the only downside is the time limit of 90 mins which leaves you feeling rushed. I will say that the restaurant really only enforces the time limit when there is a large wait. Otherwise they are very nice and flexible.Would definitely recommend for any occasion. We’re probably going to go back soon.“
“Excellent, reasonably priced dim sum in a lovely dining room! I made a reservation at the last minute and still got a table for my friend and me right before they closed for the afternoon. Service is quick; before one dish was finished, they'd bring out the next. Everything was tasty, and I'd love to come back sometime with a group.“
“Excellent hot pot. The customer service was very friendly and quick to remove our empty plates. The meat qualities were exceptional. We also loved being able to order food with our phone, but just the essentials, there is a nice Buffett to go up and grab vegetables, giblets, snails, tripe, noodles, sauce bar, even a nice $3 juice bar.Really enjoyed their special house sauce. They sauce bar had some super good choices. The soup broths were so delicious. Really clean bathroom.Just an overall top notch hot pot place!“
“This is my new favorite restaurant in SF! The food was delicious and service was great! I personally recommend the Spicy Garlic Miso broth for your hot pot. All of the food was very fresh and tasty. The all you can eat is a very good deal and I was soo full when I left. The waitstaff was super helpful with guiding me through the menu, as this was my first time doing Shabu. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant - it was very relaxing and cheerful. All of the cat decorations are very cute! The service was very quick, even though the restaurant was full when I arrived. I felt prioritized by my server and was never left waiting for food or drink. The staff were all so friendly and it seems like they have built a great community there! I will absolutely be coming back here and recommending Jin Pot to all of my friends. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Shabu experience and great service/hospitality from the staff. If it was possible I would rate 6 stars!“
“Meat quality is superb. Their cilantro garlic ponzu dipping sauce is very unique and delicious. This is on my list of restaurant tours when coming to San Francisco every couple of years for my food tour. They have shortened the meat menu from a few years ago but still really good beef and pork.I would visit way more often had the city not fallen into disrepair under years of mismanagement.“
“10/10 this place is hidden gem The price is so affordable and i would say all the meat is really come in high quality! They even provide free lobster tail that's crazy! In that price 40$ something both hotpot and grill comes with wagyu beef! You will never find anywhere like this in sf in this price !!!“
“We like to come here when we are craving teppanyaki. I like to get the salmon pasta one with the teriyaki sauce. We also got salt and pepper tofu and curry fishballs. Both were delicious! This place also has a boba shop attached to it if you have that sweet craving afterwards. Minus one star bc I got the hot pot once here and it was very mid. I'll stick to that teppanyaki from now on“
“We have been coming to this place everytime we come to San Francisco for the last 9 years. The food is fantastic, I literally crave their Dan Dan Noodles and they have some of the best Pork Belly I have ever had. The walk through Chinatown is what we look forward to as well. Service is great and we recommend this place to everyone. Here's to many more years of fantastic food , love San Francisco and love Spicy King!!!“
“Went to Matsuyama for a late Valentines dinner this weekend and everything about the experience was wonderful!!! My girl and I each got the AYCE A5 wagyu menu and this is one of the few times in my life where a $100 meal felt like a bargain. The menu was filled with so many unique items and everything was top quality! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fancy and fun date night experience!!!“
“Chef Li's is a great place to go for a quick bite or even a family dinner. The place is like a typical Chinese take out restaurant with options running from roasted pig to roasted duck or soy sauce chicken and everything in between. I usually order ahead of schedule and ordering 3 entrees takes about 15 minutes, 20 at most. They are very efficient and I never get wrong orders.“
“谢谢!Super yummy made fresh to order veggie dim sum options in the heart of Chinatown, veggie grub round here is far and few but this is worth a stop. I hauled the Vegetable and Shiitake Mushroom Bao's whilst on the move, great flavor but slightly pricey comparing to other joints in the area. It's certainly one of my new local go-to's, this place is a must as it offers incredible actual traditional Chinese treats at a great price.Support local businesses!“
“Tang bar is a grab in a bowl to add to your dish kind of food establishment. You grab ingredients, and they charge by the pound prior to adding it to a soup base or stir fry. I've only ever gotten the soup base, though, and have tried a few different flavors from their spicest to their most mild, and I've enjoyed them all. The ingredients all feel fresh, and every broth is extremely flavorful.I would give this place close to 5 stars every time. However, on my last visit with a few friends and my significant other, Tang bar somehow mixed our two ingredients bowls up.I got the spicest flavor broth, and my friends got the pickled mild spice. The only remedy Tang Bar did was to drain the soup and place the ingredients in the original soup base. This caused my friends ingredients to be too spicy for them to eat, and my veggies were wilted and meat too chewy because of the double boiling of the ingredients. This also caused us to have to wait even longer for our food, up to about another 20 to 25 minutes.Other than that mess up, it would be 5 stars all around the board, but because of this slip up, I would give Tang bar closer to 4.5 stars rounded down due to Google rating system.Vegetarian options: Pick your own ingredients, so it's easy to choose all vegetarian options.Parking: Parking lot is shared between all of Stonestown Mall parking, so depending on when you go and how far you want to walk will determine if there is parking or not.“
“Ambience 5/5 - A super chic and modern restaurant. There is residential parking around the area so it's not too difficult to find a place to park. The actual restaurant is pretty sizable and looks really nice and modern! - there are tables and also booths to sit in. The only thing to note is that the floor tiling can be slippery if it's wet/rainy outside. Service 5/5 - you can sign up for the waitlist by walking in and signing in on a tablets. I believe you can also be put on the waitlist through Yelp. Overall, the servers are pretty young, but it's very responsive and helpful! Nelson was fantastic and took the time to explain the different soup bases and sauces! They were also really proactive with offering soup, base refills, and water refills! Food 5/5 - high-quality meats, yummy options of spicy/non-spicy soup bases, but the star of the show... was the SAUCES Omgosh. Amazing. Made everything soo soooooi good! We loved the crunchy spicy (had pumpkin seeds and peanuts in chilli oil), and the green sauce stuff! Mushroom sauce came in a close second. We also tried the Spicy butter (spicy, and beef fat... tasted AMAZING with the ramen omg), Tom Yum (was alright, but pretty tangy, not surprisingly), and the Sichuan spicy. Perhaps will try the miso next time :) Overall a really, really great experience (approx cost $35 per person) We will be back again !“
