“We have enjoyed meals at Parkside Grille many times over many years and never been disappointed. Recently, the Osso Buco special was melt-in-your mouth tender and perfectly seasoned, as was a family favorite, Chile Rellenos. The special brownie sundae dessert (which can be mediocre in many restaurants) was authentic deep chocolaty gooey goodness and worth every calorie. We look forward to many more dinners there!“

“I really love this place. Writing this review after my 5th time ordering/eating from there. The staff is so friendly and the food always comes out quick even when they have a full house. The food is great and I’m addicted to their salsa/chips. I always get the 1 item combination plate and it’s so filling!“

“My new favorite sushi spot! I've come here about once a week for the past month and a half or so for lunch and it never disappoints. Food always comes out quickly, hot and tasty. I really enjoy their Deluxe Bento Box. Chicken teriyaki, rice, sashimi, salad, miso soup and tempura! And the price is great! Not to mention the service! They are always very polite, friendly and accommodating of me and my dog when we come. They have some outdoor seating for those nicer weather days. And if you sit inside it is cozy as well. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who's looking for a reasonably priced sushi spot that does not sacrifice quality.“

“Everything was delicious. Buff momo was juicy and flavorful. We also loved the goat thali set. But the star of the show was juju dhau. It brought back our memory in Nepal. The servers were also very attentive and efficient. You will not get disappointed.“

“Delicious food but maybe not worth the price. Our appetizers came super fast but the main course took a long time and we ordered the seared halibut which isn't a dish that should take a long time. The fried flowered cauliflower was amazing, great acidity in the sauce. The kanpachi was also incredibly delicious, again amazing because of a wonderfully acidic sauce. The halibut was cooked perfectly, the peas were so fresh and felt like popping boba, and the sauce was acidic again. I'm a huge fan of the acidic sauces and did not get tired of it, but that's something to be wary of if you're not a fan.“

“Good food and service overall but a few hiccups for our dinner there: only an outdoor table available (but after asking if any table would become available we got one indoor in 5 min), good-but-loud live music, and no heads up what what we ordered wasn't available anymore.“

“Everything we tasted was delicious and very nicely prepared. Service is very attentive. Yes the price tag is on the higher side but for the quality you get, it is actually very reasonable. And I am speaking after having to try several omakase places in the area, including in San Francisco. Ambience is simple and understated. Highly recommend it.“

“This is a very special restaurant which offers a unique menu. Their flambé options are made to order table side. Their food is outstanding and the service is superb! The staff members are all very friendly and make you feel like family. I definitely recommend Iron Gate!!“

“I had the linguine with clams, which was delicious! My husband had the special branzino which was also excellent. We shared the Rosa Di Mela (hot apple tart with vanilla gelato), which disappeared in an instant! We had a lovely server, who was so helpful and knowledgeable. All of that was wonderful and we'll certainly be coming back for the food & service. The only negative, is that sitting outside, you are right on the sidewalk by a road. If they could perhaps put up a bit of a screen or trellis, or maybe just some nice pots of flowers & plants, it would make the entire experience tremendous!“

“I came here last summer and it was quite an interesting experience. We ordered and then sat outside. The paratha roll was great all around -- tender and flavorful spicy chicken in a buttery roll. I'd definitely get this again. The sizzling chicken dish had good flavor but the chicken was not as tender as I would've liked. The palak paneer was pretty meh. Not creamy and just spinachy. The garlic naan and mango lassi were good. Overall I had a good time here and would definitely get the paratha roll again.“

“I highly recommend ordering through the app instead of to a live person so that you get what you want, especially if there are any omissions or substitutions added. If you’re a first timer, the staff isn’t super helpful in conveying the concept of the vendor. I went to the location at State Street Market in downtown Los Altos where it is always busy, but it’s nice to combine the options with other vendor stalls. The portion felt smaller than the last two times I’ve been here, but it was still delicious.“

“The salads are worth a two mile walk! Not only are they healthy and delicious but when you walk in you are greeted by the nicest people! That feels so rare now in the area and it has made coming back something I look forward to most days. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good fulfilling lunch.“

“I came here with my sister, my partner's cousin, and his wife. We each had a pizza. My sister had the vegan one, which she liked a lot, and the other three of us had a great sausage one. The people here were very nice. Our party overstayed our welcome a bit and they were gracious in telling us when they were closing.“

“I have been to this place only a handful of times. Each time the food quality and service never ceases to amaze me. The food is spectacularly delicious. The service is quick. Don' t let that deter you in thinking the food quality must lack. On the contrary, they use fresh ingredients and the fact that they are so busy they food turn over is great. you know you are getting fresh cooked food. Hands down the best pakistani/indian restaurant in the bay area. I recommend the halwa puri thali on the weekends and the spinach gosht on the weekdays with garlic naan.“

“Overall an enjoyable Ramen experience. The ramen joint is no-frills with a few types of ramen offerings and add-ons such as Chicken Karage and Gyoza. Their red king ramen has a great balance of spice, garlic, and umami flavours in the broth - of course, you can adjust many aspects of your dish based on your liking. The only con is that they always have long lines, and there is no waiting system so you have to stand in front of the shop, rain or shine. However, lines do move fast enough that it feels worth the wait.“
“A nice spot for some drinks, music & rotating food carts. It gets busy so plan accordingly. There is a reasonable amount of parking but again… fills up. Numerous drink options — some tasty sours, hazy & IPAs. The food cart items can be hit or miss.“

“I love places like this. This is a small mom and pop shop, with a old school sign, no frills, and the food speaks for itself. I wasn't really sure what to eat today, but was in the area and did some searching on what was available. I've seen this place come up before on my searches, but don't think it was open at the time. It's tucked away in a small shopping center near Dunkin which I've driven by many times, but easy to miss. Not a lot of parking, but luckily I came early. Just a heads up, it's currently take out only which is surprising. I thought most places opened back up indoor dining, but to be honest, I'm not sure if this place every really offered it. It's pretty small inside, maybe room for a few tables if they wanted to, but being take out only doesn't bother me. I took the photo in the car, but ended up waiting to get home to try it other than sneaking a tonkotsu piece while hot to get a good feel for the texture in case the container steamed it. I was greeted by a friendly women who I asked about what to get. I am not a picky eater at all and willing to try anything that the staff recommends as their favorite. She suggested the Bento box which was what I was considering (other than the omurice, but wasn't available. I only chose the Sashimi option since the pictures looked fairly good, but she recommended the pork tonkatsu and the teriyaki salmon (which is something I would never really order). The order also came with a side salad which isn't in the photo. The Pork tonkatsu has a light breading with a slight crispiness too it. it wasn't greasy at all and had some good flavor especially mixed with the katsu sauce. The sauce was tangy and not too sweet. The sashimi came with 2 pieces of salmon, tuna, and i believe the 3rd was mackerel. For a non sushi spot and bento box item, it was pretty good. It was a $2 upcharge and something I would get again for sure. The Salmon teriyaki, as mentioned before, is not something I ever would order, but was glad I did. It was flaky, tender, and moist. The sauce was a nice complement to it. I'm glad I found this little place and hope to come back again when I'm in the area. They don't have a large window for being open since they close between lunch and dinner, but for a small place with very few staff, I get being closed when it's not busy. $21 for a 3 item bento with sashimi is a great deal considering the prices on everything else.“

“Delicious staples time after time for the 6 years that we've had the pleasure of grabbing takeout and ordering party sized trays from here. Tip for trays: order at least 3 weeks out, and then if the staff doesn't give you a confirmation call the day prior then go ahead and call the restaurant after 8p to confirm.I could not find broccoli and egg tofu with brown gravy on the pre-filled recommendations list, and or should be :)The courteousness and the food itself have kept us loyal customers, this review is a long time coming!“

“I’ve never written a review before but I felt compelled to as this is my favorite local restaurant. They have a wide variety of options. Not too expensive. Food comes out quickly. Friendly staff. One of my go to places that I recommend to many friends vegetarian and meat eaters alike.“
“Alpha Acid is the closest brewery to us and we are SO lucky! We came our first night after moving to Belmont and we’ve never looked back. They excel at sours, IPAs, and dark stuff and are always releasing new beers. The vibes are great, too, both for the people working there and the people drinking there. Drink here!“

“A simple ambience welcomes you to the place with good indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is facilitated with lots of heaters and the vibe of the cute little downtown in Los Altos just adds up to the experience. The skeptical me opened ti menu to be surprised to see an actual fusion Indian menu with lots of favorite ingredients. Gobi - we started with cauliflower in rice flour( it's gluten free) and it was sooo crispy. Reminded me of the gobi my mom does. The spicy mayo( eggless) was the perfect combination. Paneer pesto- I was curious. The taste was similar to any Indian green chutney. But the panneer was perfectly cooked and the sauces that came along are just amazing as they look. My partner had a nice wine and he really liked it. We ordered biryani which came in an open bowl, a little oily to my taste. It was flavourful and tasty though. Would've been a 4/5 if not for the full presentation and the oil. So, I would give it a 3.5/5 Apricot kofta - this was a miss for me. The gravy is rich and the kofta is well fried. But, the apricots and the taste from them was no where to be found. The butter naan that came as a side(you pay separately) had very little butter. Though it was cooked to perfection, a small spoon of butter would've made wonders. The staff is super helpful and the service was quick. Presentation is curated and appetising. Chocolate rasamalai - it was a familiar taste. But the chop ate balanced the overtly sweet rasmalai and I liked the combination. Tiramisu - this was a miss for us. Both of us did not like the tiramisu and the gulabjamun that came along. Overall, a good experience and perfect place for date nights!“

“My family and I came by 3 weeks ago and they were great. Awesome atmosphere the service was great. The owner was helping out. They make great use of the space. The food was terrific. We ordered two godfather burgers, an impossible burger and sliders. Everything was to order. Having an impossible option was awesome. We can't wait to come back. I think I will ask for my bun toasted but other than that I have no complaints.“

“Years ago I developed an unpleasant reaction to wheat, so I stopped eating pizza. But I recently discovered that gluten-free pizza is acceptable, since it has no wheat. And the gluten-free pizza at New York Pizza is delicious! I've had it twice and both times, it was excellent, with the texture and flavor of a *real* pizza. I opted for the hawaiian style with just ham and pineapple; the next time I'll be more traditional and branch out from there. Recommended for anyone who wants or needs to avoid traditional wheat crust.“

“Stumbled upon this spot because my girlfriend and I were looking for a quick take out place. We found parking really close and ordered through a tablet. We got our food in 15 minutes! We got the spam musabis, chicken katsu and bbq chicken plate and the short rib chicken bbq plate. The portions are huge and the service was really nice. They also gave us a stamp card so after ten orders you get one for free! Definitely will be coming back.“

“Don't get me wrong, this was a good place to eat, even without a sweeping 5 stars. The location is pretty out of the way compared to a city, but was close to the job we were on. The client that took us there was familiar with the menu and was known to the waitress. The menu had all the usual entrees, so I picked some enchiladas to be safe. They were delicious. I think I'd you're in the area this would be a good choice for a meal. I would recommend it and I would return.“

“Frankly, there is no service when you need to use a QR Code to order your food and someone brings it to you but doesn't provide any real service. If you want silverware or napkins you need to get it yourself. The location is fabulous and it's dog friendly. It's anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes to wait for a table. The food is good and the prices are excellent for this neck of the woods.“
