“Celebrating my husband's 65th Birthday. Took a excursion today to cool off out of the valley heat and searched out an authentic Italian meal. I ordered the Linguini and fresh Clams with roasted peppers and light cream sauce. The results were delicious with excellent flavor and presentation. Hubby needed his Cavatelli with red gravy as a side dish since he hasn't found anything like this in our area. He also ordered Lasagna as the main course and we were surprised to see a very large portion! The bread, and I am not a bread eater, was heavenly. Hubby claims good Italian bread is like eating cake and I couldn't agree more with him more. I am now a convert! The pasta is homemade, the red gravy is delicious. We will be returning. We weren’t able to get a table inside since they had another big party but the weather was so nice out that we all enjoyed eating outside on the patio. We ordered a few apps to share. I wasn’t a huge fan of the chicken w artichoke but everything was well cooked.

“We are visiting from Ohio and had not been to A Bellagio in 10 years. Our experience was fantastic! The atmosphere has been enhanced with the remodeling that has been done. The ambience was lovely. Our server did a great job of making sure we were comfortable at all times and that we had everything we needed. The food was fabulous. We started with the Caesar salad. My husband chose the veal as his entree and I had the filet. Each one was prepared perfectly and the accompanying vegetables cooked to perfection. We each decided to choose the Tiramisu for dessert. The servings were so large that we could have shared one portion. We highly recommend A Bellagio!“

“Woah! I’ve lived in San Jose a long time. How did I not know about Torino Panino? I’d never even heard of, let alone eaten an Italian beef sandwich before! But I really enjoyed it!

There were so many choices and I had zero context so I tried the Chicago Way because it was smack dab in the middle of the menu sign. I like French dip so I got it wet; figured it was similar. Delicious sandwich. Really it the spot.

We also purchased sardines from their little pantry of canned and jarred goodies. We enjoyed those later at home.

I love the little courtyard seating area in the back. They had a tv playing one of the football games (it was Sunday). Just a really nice atmosphere. Looking forward to enjoying it all again.“

The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. “My friend and I went on Sunday evening for a ladies' day. This place was beautiful; seating inside/outside as well as bar seating. The menu is small but delicious, and the service was fantastic. Although it was busy, the owner came by our table often and gave little complimentary bites off the menu, very knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and made fantastic recommendations. Also, I was kind enough to ask about allergies/food restrictions prior to making recommendations. It was like a piece of Italy there. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back.“

“Once I got the food it was absolutely fantastic. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of my bad experience with delivery. However, the owner made up for that with great customer service. I didn't know the restaurant uses Doordash for deliveries. I usually avoid places that do that, because only the restaurant can complain to Doordash about the driver, and the end customer has no control. This Doordash guy was terrible - took over 40 minutes to deliver my order, didn't answer my calls or texts wondering where he is and when I finally got my food, it was ice cold. I contacted the restaurant, and although an employee tried to give me a hard time for using delivery, the owner was wonderful. He not only remade the order at no charge, he personally delivered it. I'll definitely eat the food again, but not use delivery.“
