The best Italian restaurant in the Bay Area! Fresh outstanding delicious food! Never disappointed with whatever I order! The staff are very professional and so kind and enjoyable atmosphere! Love the pear salad!
So to add a bit more. This was my first time, but joined a trusted friend who assured me it was a great place. She was right! It would be reasonable to state that the exterior (in a somewhat vacant strip mall) is not compelling, but the minute you walk inside it's a MUCH happier image. Friendly staff, great menu and wonderful food. SO glad I didn't stop before trying Tomato Thyme!

The restaurant is known for providing a positive experience, even when crowded, allowing customers to enjoy their meal leisurely. Their food is out of the world, with must-try dishes like tomato bisque, calamari, scallop risotto, and warm fluffy bread. Servers like Jacob and Diego are attentive and proficient, ensuring drinks never run empty. The building and surrounding area are neat and well maintained. While most dishes impress, some like the eggplant parmesan lasagna may need improvement. It's a perfect spot for a long lunch in San Jose.
