This was a favorite for years, and the kitchen is still pretty good. Lately things have declined in terms of front of house operations especially. Made a reservation by email which didn’t make it to the greeter’s desk; way too many tables crammed into too little space makes the ambient noise level atrocious, which is possibly why the waiter got both of our orders wrong, which could have been a non-issue if he had read back the order. Entrees (wrong as they were) were set down 60 minutes after ordering. Wine after that. Ugh. I’ll stay in next time.

There are many good dinner choices at Tomato Thyme, but eggplant Parmesan lasagna is not one of them. Do not order this entree or you will be severely disappointed. It’s not edible.

Tomato Thyme is a Willow Glen dinner staple. The vibe inside is warm and inviting. Each table comes with a jar of crayons and you can draw on the paper placemats. This can provide the table with a conversation starter or a fun round of tic tac toe with a sibling. We ordered the calamari appetizer, sole piccata and spaghetti alfredo. The calamari was light, crispy, and infused with garlic. The sole piccata did not disappoint! It was soft, savory, and melted in my mouth. The spaghetti alfredo could have used a little more pizzazz but it went down easily as well!

The waitress that we had was a good waitress. She was able to attend to us at the appropriate time is it make it seem like it was too long or too short in between interactions. The food was OK I ordered a pasta dish the sauce for it was too oily and it didn’t have enough flavor in it for my taste. The bread served was mediocre. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t a great appetizer. The presentation was great, and the building itself was cleanKid-friendliness: We have a little hidden menus and Little arts and crafts that they can doodle on to keep them entertained until the food arrives.Wheelchair accessibility: There were no steps so you could use a wheelchair and it was like a little ramp so everything is flat surface

We have been here several times with family, always a big crowd, they always accommodate us, the service is great, the food has always been done perfectly, I have no complaints, the only thing I would wish for is a little more variety in the menu. But they do what they do very well.

I got the California Dreamin turkey sandwich, and it was a hamburger bun with turkey lunch meat on it. Not good.

Burger and fries are spectacular here! One of the best I've ever tried. Highly recommended.

The restaurant seems to have a staffing issue. The food is fabulous, but they need to keep the same serving staff long enough to know the rules. Bartenders change often & now the manager is changing again. The saving grace is the chef Luis - he is 5 stars. He makes each customer feel special & his food is always delicious. Sometimes, Luis delivers the meals directly to the table. He learns the customer names & makes customers want to come back because they feel important.

This is one of our favorite spots for a relaxing dinner with friends and family. On this particular Sunday, we decided to have an early dinner and the restaurant was not busy with less than 15 people dining. The food was as good as always...always. However, on that Sunday evening, our waiter still had much to learn about "the hospitality business." Our waiter arrived, took our order and shortly later returned with our salads. Besides having the wrong dressing, which we did not mention, it was crisp, fresh and delightful. First clue...not inclined to pay attention to the customer. When finished, the salad plates remained on the table until the waiter showed up with our dinner entrees and stood there waiting for us to remove our salad plates and put them on the adjoining table. Second clue...really would rather work at a 'fast food' establishment. There are many components to running a restaurant but service and food are on display to one's customers. They need to be done correctly.

Always like coming here for a full meal and fun time. Got the burger which is always fresh and tasty and the fries were cooked perfectly. Finished it off with their apple bread pudding. Service is good and it's a great time with an inviting Italian theme.
