“Very happy we tried this place. Friendly staff and great service. A good bagel lox/gravlax/smoked salmon and cream cheese combo is one of my favorite breakfast foods and La Marea did not disappoint with the Scandi. One of the best I’ve had. The crunch of the sourdough bagel (with caraway dill) really brought it home. The pistachio latte was a perfect balance of flavor and not overly sweet like you get at a ⭐🦌. I may need to grab a slice of their pizza before we head out.“

The Caruso family is so nice and the food is just delicious, pure comfort food. The Gnocchi Al Forno is the best gnocchi I've ever had. Pillowy gnocchi in a hearty, garlicky marinara. It's like eating a WARM HUG.
I also love the Fettuccine Vodka and Chicken Parmesan. The complimentary bread with roasted garlic oil is such a nice gift.“
“Hosted my daughter’s birthday at this great venue. Cathy was an attentive and organized one woman show— doing food and wine orders. All of us relaxed and enjoyed ourselves for a few hours. “We were in Capitola craving pizza, but the line at Pizza My Heart was out the door, so we hopped over to Buzzo in Soquel. Best decision of the day! The space has a modern, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay a while, and the open kitchen was a great experience. We loved watching the chefs in action as they stretched the dough and slid pizzas into the fire. I ordered the mushroom pizza with truffle and added pepperoni and sausage. The fire-cooked crust was crisp and slightly charred, and the earthy truffle with the savory meats was an amazing combo. We paired it with beer and wine, which made it a perfect meal. On top of that, the service was amazing. Friendly, attentive, and they made us feel welcome right away. If you're in Capitola and don't want to wait, Buzzo is just minutes away and well worth it. We'll definitely be back!“

“I have never had a bad experience here! Every time the pizza is phenomenal. The toppings are fresh and plentiful, we order here often! We get our pizza customized with the gluten-free crust and vegan cheese so it can accommodate our family of gluten-free dairy free folks and I am so grateful for the accommodation without sacrificing any taste! Top notch establishment!“

“I was here on Friday, 9/4 around 3 o'clock, and the Girl who helped me at the counter deserves a raise. She's really friendly and it's authentic, it doesn't have that false Customer service vibe. She was also moving very quickly and taking care of a lot of orders on her own and gave me a HUGE slice 😎“

“I walked in, but needed to use the App to receive my Bday coupon. I set up the App, ordered my BBQ crustless pizza, then the employee confirmed my order was received. He made sure the order was correct, then he prepped my order. Very quick, and very tasty!“

“Fourth time here and still left impressed. Pizza, gnocchi, ragu, and sole dishes were fantastic. Didn leave room for desert but tried the strawberry and cream and lemon curd, anyway. Glad we did. Drinks were great too. Nice enough for a date night. Casual enough to be a great neighborhood hang. 10/10.“

“The joint is very small with 4 or 5 tables so it's primarily meant for delivery or takeout. Eating in is not ideal as per the server, the restaurant doesn't have utensils. The pizza is delicious and doesnt feel doughy or heavy with a thin crust and tasty sauce. Prices are sky high and the menu hasn't been updated yet to reflect the new, much higher prices.“

“Best little Caesars pizza 🍕 I've ever had. I'm from Central valley and we're vacationing here in Santa Cruz. We wanted something fast and fullfilling and reasonable we stop here and service was definitely fast, workers were courteous and pizza was hot & ready fresh out of oven crust was perfect not over cooked or hard like some places. Perfect amount of pepperoni & cheese. Definitely would recommend this pizza place. When we came home we stopped at our local little Caesars and definitely didn't taste as good as this place.“

“I ordered a medium creamy garlic supreme pizza and it was excellent! Actually one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It was hot and delicious The price for the medium (8 slices) was $28.59 and well worth it! For us two it was more than enough.

“I might recommend this place for its pies & pastries, but not their coffee offerings. I guess they don’t get many requests for mochas because what I got was mostly milk with a splash of coffee & zero chocolate. Getting it iced costs another 50¢, which I’ve never seen before. They really don’t promote their coffee beverages, so…. Hopefully your experience will be better.“

“My favourite dining hall at UCSC! Nothing will beat the gorgeous view at the Cowell/Stevenson Dining Hall. I wish they had more halal options and a greater variety of food, but it does the job! Would highly recommend getting food here pre-sunset, and to bask in the view whilst sitting on the balcony - alone and with friends.“
