“We love the Maverick's meat, Fort Point, and Depot Hill. The gluten free crust is thin and crunchy, and the regular crust is a yummy sourdough. They pile on the toppings and their sauce is delicious. We've never experienced cold pizza delivery as of yet.“

“We ordered a takeout pizza 20 minutes before closing as we were driving into Aptos. The staff was very accommodating and said they would be there when we were to arrive in 25 minutes. They had the pizza ready and it was very good. Great job Pizza 1 Aptos!“

“Fourth time here and still left impressed. Pizza, gnocchi, ragu, and sole dishes were fantastic. Didn leave room for desert but tried the strawberry and cream and lemon curd, anyway. Glad we did. Drinks were great too. Nice enough for a date night. Casual enough to be a great neighborhood hang. 10/10.“

“I might recommend this place for its pies & pastries, but not their coffee offerings. I guess they don’t get many requests for mochas because what I got was mostly milk with a splash of coffee & zero chocolate. Getting it iced costs another 50¢, which I’ve never seen before. They really don’t promote their coffee beverages, so…. Hopefully your experience will be better.“

“Buzzos is hands down one of my favorite spots for wood-fired pizza! The quality of the ingredients and the flavors are consistently amazing. My go-to pizza is the Jenkins—it’s absolutely delicious and one I order every time.
The meatballs are a must, and I also love the apple, fennel, and celery salad. It’s fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the pizza. The burrata is another standout—such a unique, flavorful dish that’s always worth ordering.
The food, atmosphere, and friendly service keep me coming back. If you’re looking for incredible wood-fired pizza in Soquel, Buzzos is definitely a place you need to try!“

“Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had, period! It’s incredibly fresh, perfectly crafted, and the crust is exactly what you want—beyond crisp on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. “Bookie's always has at least one vegan pie on the menu. Big ones, deep dish, six hearty slices. Was expecting a different pie from the online menu I checked before arriving but they had the Beetaroni instead. Delicious and filling. Toppings were layered properly and everything was balanced. They have a vegan salad on the menu as well as an appetizer. Great drink options for all as well. Beer and NA options. Convivial atmosphere, was packed when I was there but got a nice spot at the communal table.“

“We recently had a birthday party for my son here. It went so smoothly. The staff was completely on top of our needs. They even stored our pizza and ice cream cake leftovers for us while we went next door for a movie! I highly recommend this restaurant not only for the stellar service, but the food is also incredible. Can't wait to come back for more!“

“Very happy we tried this place. Friendly staff and great service. A good bagel lox/gravlax/smoked salmon and cream cheese combo is one of my favorite breakfast foods and La Marea did not disappoint with the Scandi. One of the best I’ve had. The crunch of the sourdough bagel (with caraway dill) really brought it home. The pistachio latte was a perfect balance of flavor and not overly sweet like you get at a ⭐🦌. I may need to grab a slice of their pizza before we head out.“

“Growing up in Watsonville, Pizza Mia was the quintessential spot for a quick, satisfying slice, a concept that feels rare these days. Returning after more than a decade, I was eager to see if it lived up to my memories, and it absolutely did.
The pizza remains consistently good, the crust is thin but not too thin, with a soft, fluffy interior and a satisfying crisp. The sauce is the real standout, it's light, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced, complementing every bite. It is simple, unpretentious, and exactly what you hope for from a neighborhood pizzeria.
Service is fast, and the pricing is fair. I had three slices of pepperoni pizza and three water bottles for $13.81. What struck me most is how Pizza Mia manages to deliver both nostalgia and quality, proving that some local favorites are timeless. The only downside is that I noticed the seating area is now closed, which is a bummer as that was a place to sit, eat, and enjoy your pizza and maybe play an arcade game.
For anyone in Watsonville craving a classic slice done right, this is a must visit!“

The Caruso family is so nice and the food is just delicious, pure comfort food. The Gnocchi Al Forno is the best gnocchi I've ever had. Pillowy gnocchi in a hearty, garlicky marinara. It's like eating a WARM HUG.
I also love the Fettuccine Vodka and Chicken Parmesan. The complimentary bread with roasted garlic oil is such a nice gift.“

“Ordered a custom medium pesto pizza. My first time ordering here because I just moved to the area. Good pie. Ready on time. I did pickup and the pie was ready on time and no wait getting it. I like deep dish, but that is not an option here. I am glad they have a gluten-free crust option because my wife is gluten intolerant.“
