“Rootstock was a great place for some tastings! They thoughtfully created wine flights of 3 different wines - reds or whites. Unfortunately not a combination of both red and white. The food was good. We came at happy hour. The service was excellent. She was very kind and helped us choose the wines best suited to our tastes. So many wines to choose from! Excelled selection and variety. Really nice space too. The only criticism I have is the inside had a very strong odour. Like a stale beer bar mat :/ that’s it. Was a great place to visit and enjoy the patio weather.“

Wide variety of tapas food. Full bar with large wine menu. Pretty much everyone working there is from Spain. Very authentic feeling.“

“Yummy, creative food! Only thing I didn’t like - we had reservations for the patio at 8:30 PM. When we got there they told us that they stopped seating outside. We had initially opted for the patio, because we knew that it was pretty loud inside and we wanted to talk (my friend and I). Begrudgingly we accepted the table indoors. Shortly before we left, around 9:45 - they started seating people on the patio. I felt not taken seriously, to be honest.“

“Been to rice junkie multiple times for lunch as well as for dinner. The service is always quick and fast however I do not like the new digital menu that they have especially if you’re on the tables close to the wall.
Their selection of sauces is always very interesting and I’m yet to try them all.
The ambience is somewhere in between a fancy restaurant and a fast casual.
Definitely get their corn and cheese combination either with the chicken or with the pork. Lunch for two with a drink and appetizer was $30 per person.

“I went the other night with my wife and two friends. We ordered:

1 Charcuterie
1 Opera Cake
2 Lychee de Leche
1 Tito's Martini (espresso)
1 Far East Fashioned
1 BTG Sauvignon Blanc

The waiter was very good. He really knew the menu and was able to give very good descriptions.

Drinks were good and the atmosphere is nice.

Only downside is how high the prices are but we knew that going in.“

“The service and environment are very good, and there are relatively few carbohydrates and vegetables on the menu. The beef tongue is delicious and the price/performance ratio is good. The grilled rice balls were surprisingly good, a bit like glutinous rice cakes. The squid rice has a very rich and creamy flavor.“

The crab roe Xiao long bao is so creamy! The juice is solid. It's expensive, but it's really worth it! I would skip the pork buns. They are so so.

“A great experience! Cheese board was delicious. Soft pretzel with beer cheese is outstanding. Sat outside and enjoyed the cool California air. It was a super relaxed atmosphere and had a good vibe. We were visiting San Jose for a few days and picked this place on a whim for some downtime. It was pretty cool place to have a beer and chill.“

“For 3 yrs always stay at Aloft it’s like my second home , the ambiance is very nice, front desk clerk are polite and friendly , the bar , waiting area , restaurant and the swimming pool are very nice , the rooms are big, and parking area“

“A random find, but turned out to be beyond expectation. Were looking for a place in downtown Saratoga to have a casual brunch with a friend, trying to get out of “popular” places to avoid the long unnecessary wait, hence we did not expect a great meal from this random walk-in.
But we walked in, clean and standard restaurant decor, standard brunch menu, ok food display. So I thought, meh, ok meal.
Then I took a spoonful of the Shakshuka Egg, amid the look, it’s actually quite delicious! So we stopped the conversation and focused on the food more, took another spoonful of the Loco moco, it’s way better than I expected, surprisingly tasty! The beef patties is juicy, real-meaty and fulfilling!

I would recommend coming here if you want an easy and nice brunch, not overcrowded or hectic but quiet to meet with friends or family. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still in Saratoga so it’s pricy, and don’t expect IG friendly photo. But it’s a decent place if you want to eat and chat!
And downtown Saratoga got a lot of public parking spots, convenient to walk to restaurant.

“Aloft Sunnyvale on its own is good enough value for money spent. However, what truly stood out was the customer ser ice of its front desk. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“

“The shareables were delicious and very fresh. Hamachi Crudo and the Tempura Prawns were our favorites with their unique but not overpowering sauces. Ask if the seared Ahi salad has been added to the menu- it was offered to us by our sever as a special and it was the best we ever have had. If you like roasted Brussels sprouts you will love these, they are halved but huge with a light balsamic glaze and perfectly crisp on the outside. The vibe is very upbeat and the art sets the funky/romantic feel. Patrons dress nicely (business causal for men and a lovely array of dresses on ladies, some people were in jeans or shorts which is nice too, but they were the minority) seating was full by 5:30 on Saturday. We were glad we booked for 5pm and took our time.“

“I haven't tried the place, yet, but I am going to. There have been a few occasions where I had picked up something at the store next door. I look over at the restaurant, and there have been at least 40 to 60 people standing outside. ( I'm assuming, waiting for a table, or take-out) They were mostly Asian,( I'll make another fairly safe assumption), most likely Korean. So, I would guess that the food served there is pretty darn good, as well as authentic. I think I'll give it a try next week and see if it is as good as it seems to be. I'll be sure to let you know.“
