“We felt so lucky that we were able to catch this place on a busy Sunday afternoon with barely any wait. The food tasted so authentic in a setting to match. The chefs are exposed and you can watch them work their magic. We tried the tapas, the sushi, the specials - nothing disappointed! It came out quick and hot with bold flavors. Just how we like it. Highly recommend checking this place out! Very cozy, intimate vibe with smooth jazz over head. Coming back soon!“
“There are a few small plates available from each of several Mediterranean cuisines. The overall collection is somewhat eclectic, but the quality was consistently very good and mixing the different styles worked. The wine list is also good and fairly representative of the different cuisines.“
“Amazing seafood market! The restaurant offers daily specials and a happy hour, which makes the prices very appealing. We went there on Monday; I ordered the 1lb lobster, and it was such indulgence! I love the potato chips too; they’re crispy but not oily. I wish I could go there every day! Definitely the best dinner experience during my one-week trip in the Bay Area. The restaurant comes with outdoor seating area, very relaxing!Parking: You could parking along the road, and they also provide parking in the back of the restaurant. It was pretty easy since it was not a major road.“
“The best way to cap off a not do fun day of travel was dinner with these three! Even with the changing meet up times, they were all gracious and flexible enough to make it happen and I couldn’t have been happier to break bread with one of my oldest friends, aka The Captain, his wife, and one of the earliest friends I made in the Chicagoland area…and it didn’t hurt that the food was amazing! I’d probably walked past this place several times during my previous visits to Burlingame but never eaten there…my loss!“
“I came here with my sister, my partner's cousin, and his wife. We each had a pizza. My sister had the vegan one, which she liked a lot, and the other three of us had a great sausage one. The people here were very nice. Our party overstayed our welcome a bit and they were gracious in telling us when they were closing.“
“This was a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was stylish: marble topped tables and gold chairs, with subdued lighting. The food was exquisite. I started with the roasted cauliflower, made with dates, mint, and harissa tahini sauce. I ordered it because it sounded exotic, and. . . I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! I will order this again! And I followed that with the Caprese pizza (mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil). It was, in a word, delicious! The crust was marvelous: soft and slightly chewy. I shouldn’t be surprised. The Turks have the best bread. I will definitely be back, but also want to try the sister restaurant, Mykonos.“
“Ambiance is arty, comfortable and lovely. Menu had great choices and the 3 of us were so pleased with our choices. I brought home the leftovers and they were just as delicious the next day. We had the mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, shrimp and the crab ‘taco'. The winter sangria was delicious and full body with rich red wine and port YUM just right for this time of year!“
“As usual, Flea St takes all the best parts of the farm-to-table method, stays true to the mission without a lot of self-congratulatory stuff, then adds real attentive service and care to every detail such that you feel like they've been just waiting to have you as a guest. The team is warm, professional and skilled - such a joy to have this gem available to us all.“
“Overdue review - came here for a board dinner. Beautiful spacious comfortable space. The food was really good! Want to go back when they have the cauliflower main dish back - it was delicious! Didn't really have enough room to do the delicious desserts justice - another reason to go back. Unfortunately they close at 7pm due to being in a office building space. There's an underground path to the parking garage - it's a little tricky to figure out but it's there. It is a bit of a walk - might want to drop off the rest of your party at the restaurant first before parking.“
“We had a phenomenal waiter. I asked about gluten free options since the menu was not marked, and he took me through the menu to explain what could and could not be safely prepared without cross contamination. Unfortunately, not many safe options! There are very few gluten-containing items, but they spoil most of the menu for me due to a shared fryer - so no homemade tortilla chips for me! The cocktails were great, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were friendly. I just wish they would modify kitchen practices to be more celiac friendly.Dietary restrictions: Minimal truly gluten free items due to cross contamination“
“Very nice brewery located in Menlo Park. Had dinner close by and wanted to drop by for a drink. Parking in the area was easy, and there was a parking lot close by. Their beers are good, not my favorite brewery but everything tasted fine. I felt like the prices here are more expensive for a flight compared to other places, after tip it was $32+. Service was great! Typical brewery, it was pretty loud and even more so with the arcade games. Otherwise, I prefer layout and interior of this location compared to the one in SF.“
“Iberia is a Spanish island on the San Mateo Peninsula. The interior is quite charming. The layout -two rooms- allows some to gather in the bar/lounge, and others to enjoy the dining room. In the dining room, couples can share intimate booths, and larger groups have tables. In the bar, there are two tables for large groups and a few tables for smaller crowds. OH, and the food!! We just returned from Madrid and found nothing there to outshine Iberia's tapas. The tapas range through vegetables, mushrooms and meats and use fine oil and other enhancers, such as impossibly finely diced shallots. The service might be a tad slow on a busy evening, but you're in Spain! Get a glass of vino (or sangria) and sit back to enjoy each other's company. I strongly encourage you to check this small gem out! TDMParking: Try the Caltrain lot across El Camino“
“On a four day trip to the Bay area, my family and I ate here three times, so, yeah... We loved it.The atmosphere was chill AND vibrant. The food was delicious. The Brasa platter was probably the only dish that seemed not to be a great value. Probably cheaper to order some of those proteins separate and get more because of the sides. The sweet potatoes are delicious, so is the rice. Rotisserie chicken ?Their regular fries are crispy and crunchy.Soggy fries? Yes, please with lomo salteado. They were acomodating of our stroller and our four backpacks. The drinks look delicious.. “We were in town for Valentine's Day so I made a reservation here. I knew it would be busy, which it was, but the service was still great. We were taken care of quickly, our waters were always full (which is important to me), the wine was great and the food was even better. All the wait staff were friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend Pulpo if you are in the area!“
“From the service, to wait time, to food. This place is top notch. Best dumplings I’ve had in the Bay Area and yes I have tried a lot. I’m not getting paid for this review although I wish I was. Really good dumplings, try them out and get the chili “

“Went for lunch on Sunday at 1pm after it was recommended by a friend for having good dimsum. We thought there would be a wait but there were a few open tables so we were seated immediately. The service was attentive and the food came quickly. Go for the food, not the ambiance. The menu isn't as extensive than a dimsum restaurant, but we appreciated the variety. Our favorites: * String beans - crisp and flavorful!* passion fruit aloe green tea - refreshing! * pork belly with charcoal buns - my son who loves Peking duck said that he would rather get these now. Not sure if the charcoal buns are supposed to taste different than normal bao - they tasted the same to us. * braised beef noodle soup with wontons - delicious shrimp wontons and a very beefy broth. * pan fried soup dumplings - tasty filling and lots of soup to slurp up. Next time we would skip: * cucumbers - too vinegary. Seems like they may have accidentally poured too much vinegar in our serving. At least that's my hope. * beef kimcheese rice - more tomatoey than kimchee flavored. * XLB trio - couldn't really tasty the truffle flavor. I wish we could order just the crab ones. The others weren't that amazing.“
“Hidden Gem of Authentic Mexican Cuisine Rating: (5/5) I recently stumbled upon this hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant, and it turned out to be an unforgettable culinary adventure. Tucked away in a cozy corner of Redwood city, this place may not look like much from the outside, but trust me, the food speaks for itself. The flautas were a revelation. I tried the carne asada and were packed with tender, seasoned meat and topped with vibrant, homemade salsas and fresh salad. Prices are reasonable, considering the quality and quantity of food you receive. I left with a happy heart and a full stomach, promising myself to return soon. Parking is good! If you're a fan of authentic Mexican cuisine and are willing to venture off the beaten path, this hole-in-the-wall restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Don't let its unassuming exterior fool you; it's a culinary treasure waiting to be discovered. Cant wait to go back and try everything else!“
“They used to have one of these at SEA, but it has now been replaced by a wine tasting venue with no food. What I like about Vino Volo is that you can get pretty decent food and snacks for a reasonable price. Now, the price of a glass of wine is far from reasonable but when paired with the food, it doesn't seem as bad. I always enjoy stopping here on my way back to Seattle from San Francisco.“
“You can’t find a better place for bruschetta, paninis and very flavorful salads! There are so many choices. The food is not too heavy, yet very filling even for a manly appetite. Food preparation is consistent year after year. The bar menu is progressively being updated and now includes more than the robust wine menu that has always been available.Unassuming atmosphere. Good music in the evenings on the weekend. Nice covered back patio. Good space for parties.Very hard working owner and staff. There is very little turnover.Try it!“
