The brunch-type food is excellent, and the music and decor are individualistic and welcoming (check out the restroom too! Love the generous, relaxing spa vibe and the chandelier!). There’s a bowl of unique, handmade metal-and-glass kaleidoscopes to play with at the big table, and around a corner we got to meet a sweet little 18-year-old resident doggie named Twiggy. “This was one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve ever had and I would come here every day if I could. I loved watching the kitchen work while solo dining at the bar with my new friends Julia and Matthew! Their recommendations were absolutely wonderful and I adored chatting with them about all the things that make this restaurant and city so stellar.

I showed up 10 minutes before opening and was third for a walkin table, so get there early or make a res! I ordered the bread and butter, scallops and caviar, tomato tart, omelette Boursin, and pan Perdue and would not change one thing. The food quality, service, and ambiance was truly second to none and I’ll be thinking about this meal for quite a while! An absolute must if you’re in SF for any amount of time❤“

“A great, local izakaya that really shines with kushi (skewer) cuisine. In addition to kushi, they also have several other dishes that are delicious, but especially the chicken-skin gyoza and their karaage. They also have a solid sake selection. I’ve been here several times and am always eager to come back. Heads up that if you come hungry then leaving full will probably run you at least $50 per person without drinks.“

If you don’t know anything about sherry (like I didn’t) they will be happy to recommend something! Tuesday nights are “Sherry-aoke” night, so if you sing a song you can get $5 sherries! “It’s cozy, good and fast service and the food is high quality. We got the top secret and hamachi carpaccio which I would definitely get again, then for main dish we ordered curry rice (little bit of spice, nice crispy pork) and mentaiko yaki udon (flavorful, not too heavy noodles were perfectly cooked) which were good but would want to try other items that also looked good on the menu. Definitely recommend!“

“Blown away! Sitting at the chef’s bar was an outstanding experience. The chef made recommendations; he is a true artist of his craft - what a delight to watch. The nigiri/sushi is classic with no frills, relying completely on the quality of the fish and the expertise of the chef. What a local gem!“

“Such a special place. Similar to La Ciccia, Binu Bonu maintains a lovely neighborhood feel. Huge selection of wine (all of it new to me and something I really liked), wonderful charcuterie type small plates (out of this world olives). The stars are the husband and wife that make the magic place happen.“

“Took my team of 14 for a celebration during Dreamforce week and we sat outside in the heated Patio it was a cool night but we felt very comfortable. Out service was fun and attentive. Helped us plan a bit for such a large group and we really ordered perfectly. Food and cocktails were great. I've eaten here for years and have a good expectation on what I hat we'll be getting and wasn't disappointed. Very tasty Mediterranean fare, always good. Highlight was a tomahawk chop special was so good we ordered a second for the table lol.“

“I went here over the weekend on a Saturday around 12:30pm and there was a good amount of people dining there at the time, but no wait. They have a bunch of large tables inside this restaurant and they sell a large variety of brunch and Asian fusion breakfast items!

Anyways, we got the Iced Butterfly Lychee Fizz, Thai Milk Tea, Vietnamese Dalgona Coffee, Orange Mimosa, Banana French Toast Combo, Spicy Bacon Benedict, Fried Chicken & Waffle, and the Bo Luc Lac. Out of the items we tried, the Iced Butterfly Lychee Fizz was my favorite drink because of how pretty and refreshing it was, while the Spicy Bacon Benedict was my favorite entree since it wasn’t too messy.

I’d recommend this place! I loved everything I tried that day and I like how large the portion sizes here are too!“

“What is the prize well in San Francisco airport to jump into this location of Vino Volo. Here they have quite a few selections of wines by the bottle that you can buy intake onto your flight… Customer service was outstanding with Frandel who guided me through some of the bottle selections and allow me to taste a wine before purchasing a glass… I didn’t have enough time to do a flight but if you have a layover in San Francisco do yourself a favor go meet Frandel and have him guide you through one of a number of flights designed to give you a experience of a reach or a varietal! I will definitely be back next time I’m at SFO!“

“A great little hidden gem near Chinatown! It’s very serene and just an awesome ambiance. We were greeted immediately by the most welcoming staff. The menu is great, offering a wonderful mix of flavors. I was blown away by the shiitake mushroom skewers. How can mushrooms be this intense and perfect in flavoring?! We ordered a mix of veg skewers, yaki, and sushi. I wish I had more room for it all! Definitely recommend Nomu Skewers if you’re in the area!! Did not disappoint!!“

“Chicken is super flavorful! I had a plate which was $20. Asked for extra rice instead of bread. Portions are decent size and deliver good value. The customer service is nice but its regular mall style self pick up place. Ingredients seem fresh and good quality. Tahini sauce was liquid and not as thick as other places (I think it’s just a matter of personal preference). The place is halal.
The only thing I would drop the price to $16/$17, not $19

“Great spot! $11.99 all you can drink with $15 per person minimum spend - easily met with one of their delicious special rolls.

Salmon skin, Shimuzu, and Umami Salmon rolls so good!! Fish was fresh and flavorful. Service was fast and friendly, and chef Bobby is a delight. No wait to be seated. Come here!“
