“Both bartenders in Friday night were extremely excellent. Matt was great with patron interactions and I unfortunately forget the name of the other bartender on shift, but he made an excellent drink reccomendation that was an instant favourite.“

“Good food but not wow or particularly memorable. Very expensive for what it is ... shockingly expensive actually. Sausages were noting better than Little Smokies, skirt steak probably best skewer. Various chicken skewers average. Ramen pretty good. Tiny but charming interior. Fantastic service.“

“Cozy and funky living room vibe. The drinks are tasty and the burger excellent! Photo booth. Great wheelchair access as things aren't all high up or too close together.
Wheelchair accessibility: Good for wheelchair users because it has low seating“

“The small tapas were delicious, especially the tomato kimchi—it was light and refreshing, paired perfectly with the grapefruit. The uni scallop toast was flavorful, though I found the price a bit steep. The Galbi Ribeye with lettuce wraps was satisfying and filling, while the kimchi fried rice stood out as unique, with a nice touch of egg yolk and cheese on top. The presentation of all the dishes was thoughtful and well-executed. I'd gladly order everything again, except for the uni scallop toast, mostly due to its price.“

“It’s a great bar for your first date; but no one returns to it ; and therefore it’s not a neighborhood bar; but It’s exterior architecture - a transportation hub / station converted to a bar - is startlingly good; but the interior doesn’t create a sense of belonging.Stools are designed to traumatize your posterior; perhaps a short date is best ; the beer and snacks and the service are great but without the neighborly feeling , it’s just another brick in the wall;“

“What a fun place. Quirky with the whole entrance and then a classy interior. Managed to get reservations for two on Saturday afternoon for 5:30pm the same day.
Overall, the vibe and quirkiness isn't what would draw me back a second time, but the food is absolutely top shelf. Huge fan of the grilled octopus, in particular. Perfectly cooked. The sangria wasn't bad. Pretty good but not special enough that it's a necessity if you're not in the mood. Next time we'll start exploring the wine list more. The food was just too good so we'll be back again soon for the food and a bottle of wine.“

“From the velvet ropes to the entrance to the ironwork windows the space felt like a mini vacation from the ordinary. The tumeric latte was a stand-out. Salmon niçoise was delicious — unlike many the potatoes weren't an afterthought in the preparation. Quiche mind-blowingly tender. The staff (including the on-site owners) were so nice I almost felt bad this was only my first visit. This pescetarian could not have been happier with his Sunday brunch.“

“The food was delicious, the staff so kind and helpful, and attentive. Our waiter was Isaac and he was so so nice and dealt with my large party so professionally. The ambience was gorgeous and the music was on point. I definitely look forward to coming back for an intimate date night. Again the food was gorgeous and so yummy. I wish I could have tried everything.“

“Fenikkusu serves some interesting dishes that you wouldn’t find at your typical Japanese restaurant. As the name says they serve tapas (ie small portion) dishes and specialize in sushi.
The mini kaisen don is the real star of the menu and is a well thought out balance of sashimi rice, aromatics and salmon roe for some brininess. The mentaiko pasta is also a really awesome dish. I would come back here for these two dishes. I also enjoyed the corn fritters and the mackerel.
I would stay away from the oxtail pot and is the main reason why I didn’t give a five star rating.“

“A wonderful evening at Okoze with Jason, doing a vast taster session for us organised by some amazing friends.
Some of the freshest ingredients I’ve ever tasted!
From crab, to tuna, to prawn, to scallop, to wagyu, to pickled plum and a wild array in between this was a fantastic evening and wonderful meal. A special shout out to the prawn tempura we started with, so crunchy but so light! Plus the wagyu that melted like butter!
Highly recommend a visit to Okoze for truly beautiful and tasty food.“

Very economical price (Dinner for two people about $40 + tip)
Without a doubt, to repeat.“

“Unpretentious place with friendly service!
This sandwich comes with an aioli sauce that is sensational. Spinach, cheese, turkey... One of the best I ate on the trip and it doesn't cost a kidney, like almost everything in San Francisco.
The latte with almond milk was delicious too!“

“Came for brunch and thought it was cute and tasty! We came here around opening time on a Saturday and there was no line and plenty of seating.
I don’t think this place will beat out a no frills place that just does brunch items well but for a fusion-y, themed brunch place I think it’s definitely one of the top ones in the city.
I got the sando Benedict and my husband got the rancheros. I definitely thought mine was the better of the two and he somewhat agreed.“

“Got lunch on a Saturday at this fusion brunch place near the boundary of Chinatown and Little Italy in SF. It was not crowded, which I appreciated. Was able to try the Boc Luc Lac, which was cubed beef tenderloin with sauce, and came with an egg, salad, and garlic bread, as well as the Fried Chicken and Pandan Waffles. The beef in the Boc Luc Lac was very soft and tender, with none of the toughness or rubberiness associated with beef. It was very tasty too, and the garlic bread and fried potatoes that came with it was very tasty. As for the Fried Chicken and Pandan Waffle, the waffle itself was surprisingly light and crispy, and the chicken was delicious, no complaints. Overall the food was very good and solid, and I'd like to go here again to try the other items. 4.5 out of 5.“

“Really nice local joint to check out. The food was great and the bartender and owner were really nice. Good options for non drinkers and vegetarians. Very spacious. Looking forward to coming back for trivia and music. Forgot to take a pic before I was almost done with the food, it was too good to let sit.
Vegetarian options: The spinach balls were really good
Dietary restrictions: Most of the food was dairy free, lots of veg options“

“First brewery of the day and what an excellent neighborhood brew pub sitting on the corner of Bryant St and Cesar Chavez St. A lot to choose from so we went high ABV with the Hazed & Confused Double Hazy IPA at 9%. We both enjoyed it.“

“Pleasantly surprised !!! This spot is in our neighborhood and wanted to give it a chance.
The nigiri was well crafted, good flavor and a nice mouthfeel. We tried amaebi, sake belly, sample of the toros. Chu -toro was the star. I like how the amaebi had roe on top. It was a nice touch.
The rolls were all nice portions and well balanced rice ratio. We had the deluxe California roll and rock and roll.
My hubby loved the salmon skin hand roll. It was large and very flavorful. The presentation of the hand roll was beautiful.
Agedashi was great, the daishi could have more depth but nice crispy and pretty plate.
One of the better neighborhood sushi spots we’ve been to lately.“

“We ordered the combo plate with lamb, beef and chicken shawarma served with rice and salad. It was freshly made to order, with flavorful tender meat, yummy freshly sliced salad, and well cooked rice. Large portion for a very reasonable price. We all loved it and will definitely be back! Awesome healthy addition to the Stonestown food court.“

“The importance of an experienced and friendly chef should not be overlooked. Too many times I have found restaurants where the chef disregards the customer's opinion due to perceived lack of expertise in the culinary craft. That isn't the case here. Chef Bobby spoke to every diner during my visit and listened to our feedback, as well as provided some backstory and reason to his processes. It was a very warm and engaging experience, which helped us better understand the food. This is always a good thing.
The prices here are excellent, especially for the quality. I don't need to talk about the all you can drink deal, but it's what you'd expect and really great for the price again.
I have nothing bad to say as a customer, but I noted throughout the night how the layout of the restaurant causes the robot server to impede the staff's ability to quickly move around the restaurant. This is due to the hallway layout causing only one person to be able to walk through at a time, sometimes while shuffling behind the robot. I know it's a unique piece for the restaurant, but I wonder if it's really necessary. I imagine it would be pretty annoying for all involved parties during busy hours. On the other hand, the train is a much more efficient design although it lacks the ability to move larger dishes.“

“We’ve been here twice, and both times the food was good. However, during our first visit, the service was terrible—we waited 50 minutes for a table, and every 10 minutes, the host would promise it would be ready in five. Overall, it’s a good izakaya spot. Each skewer dish was about $3-6, and the wagyu was around $9.“

“Overall it was normal food.
I had high expectations because of the good ratings, but it was a bit more disappointing than I expected. However, when I revisited it, it was different.
I think it’s worth looking forward to the different types of food~^^“
