Came for lunch and it was so cute and the food was so delicious! Very relaxed, European vibes inside with lots of space and great service.
We loved the every dish we got but the omelette, seafood hors d’oeuvres, and pain perdu dessert stood out the most. The dessert especially was so well-crafted and special.
We celebrated our anniversary with a long, leisurely lunch at Verjus last weekend, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Verjus is a place with a great vibe, service, and delicious food. Customers enjoyed trying multiple dishes and praised the desserts. The ambiance is perfect for a glass of wine, although the service can be slow at times. Making a reservation is recommended to ensure a better dining experience. Visitors have called it the best restaurant in SF, highlighting extraordinary dishes like the steak, duck, eggs, and ham croquets. The pan perdu is highly recommended and worth trying. The wine list is exceptional, and the service is top-notch, though it can be loud. The new pre fix lunch offers great value with delicious options like melon with prosciutto and house-made lamb sausages with couscous and squash, paired with a Santa Barbara chenin blanc. Overall, the restaurant is praised for its attention to detail, outstanding food, and excellent hospitality, making it a memorable dining spot.
