We traveled to San Francisco August 15-17 to celebrate my husband's birthday. I selected this hotel for the location which is directly across from Oracle Park. We had tickets to a Giants game so I wanted to be close and I had heard the Via is a good hotel. We were disappointed. Our room on the third floor at the back of the building had issues. The staff was very accommodating to our requests. They get 5 stars. Room was very clean and amenities were good. The rooftop bar was wonderful at night! A good place to end a fun night out. Close to restaurants too. The view of Oracle Park was great. Would stay here again.

It was nice, drinks were good and bartender was chatty. Unfortunately the night we were there they had a private function so you couldn't go out to the really cool rooftop area. We snuck out there and took a couple pics really quick before getting caught. It overlooks the giants stadium and bay bridge in the background.
