“If you’re into tiki, this place is a must. If you’re not, it’s still going to be a very good time. Drinks are strong and expertly crafted. I love Smuggler’s Cove’s cocktail book but don’t always have all the necessary ingredients at home, so was glad to be able to experience the recipes where they can be properly executed.“

“Went here on New Year’s Eve! They had loads of Christmas themed items which was adorable. The interior was beautifully decorated with lights and their music selection included Doja Cat. The staff were attentive and made very yummy drinks!“

“This review is particularly for the Ilna pop-up on Sunday nights. Maz, the chef, cooks with so much passion. He collects the best ingredients from local farmer's markets, even using his background as a wine maker to create special ferments, and shares his family's Lebanese origins with so much care in each dish. The meatball and prosciutto are not to be missed!“

“I had originally given them a one star review. Was contacted by Chris the owner with an apology for a reservation they canceled. They asked us for a second chance and we gave it them. They totally made good and we had a very pleasant evening.“

“Had a great time, around a few drinks with friends. It is unfortunate that the beer garden area backs on a dilapidated lot. The thin wall is not enough to contain the rather unpleasant smell of what seems to be used as a public urinal and smoking point.“

“I always go to the pub crawl on Halloween. It's fun there are lots of arcade style games, and it's not that crowed, worth the visit. They could offer jelly shots of different flavors, though. I really don't like the lime ones. They were serving Mexican store-bought style food there, I don't know if they serve this on a daily basis. I didn't taste it but my friends liked it. They were drunk and hungry, so I think everything is delicious in that state.“

“Last night my friends had a table at a nearby (not to be named) bar that would not let me bring my backpack in.
So I go to bamboo hut and ask if they’ll hold it.
They at first say no (I don’t blame them, I wasn’t buying anything and it was a busy Friday night)
Out of desperation I offered to pay them $100 to hold it
The woman goes to talk to the manager / owner, who comes up and says they’ll hold it.
Then they refused my money. Both of them.
It was a kind, simple interaction that really made the night of a stranger (me).
This review is the least I can do; these are good people“

“spectacular seafood! shrimp and scallops were thoroughly enjoyed and the wine and Champagne pairings made it even better! Only bad thing was, I didn't get a second Tiramisu for dessert! Perfect little private room in back and the 3 servers were on point!“

“We sat in the back outside which had a clear tent over it. It was open and had good air circulation with a great temperature. The only negative was noise carries, there was a group of 12 adults and kids having a great time but at times it was very loud. The food was on point, highlights, were the biscuits and the truffle fries. Good beer menu and the staff were pleasant, professional and aware of our needs. We would go back without hesitation.“

“Great vibe, came for the happy hour burger. Fries were thick cut and crispy. I did wish the burger had some more fresh components (lettuce/raw onion/tomato) but it was juicy and delicious. Server offered to have the burger split on two plates which was nice.“
“My favorite bar in SF! I come here nearly every year on my birthday to celebrate another trip around the sun. I know that by removing the pool and foosball table from the lower level helped free up some space inside, but I miss playing a round. They have the friendliest bartenders in the city. I hope that the Page never changes, carpeted floors and all!!!“
“Friendly crew. Verifying Covid vaccine status to enter. Clean bathrooms and nice outside space.“

“I’ve been bamboozed; I was told I could eat the entire bingsu by myself but it was too much!!!! I got the Korean one, and it was so yummy—lots of toppings and I liked the the condensed milk came on the side.
Really cute study vibe with free wifi and a bathroom. I’d go back to see someone play the grand piano. Not a ton of seating though“

“Joe is great. After our Uber drive dropped us in the wrong place, Joe would tell us how to get there, he took us there. It was only at the end of the block, but meant the world to us. He wouldn’t accept a tip, so went back to have a beer after dinner. He remembered our name. He is the true meaning of customer service and I’ve told all of my friends to go see him at the Showdown. Thanks again, Joe“

“Friendly staff who are happy to give reccomendations for the area (both for food, bars etc as well as "cultural" advice).
Reasonably priced.
Nice vibe. Music, but not too loud. Cool rural on the floor you enter in.“

“This place was awesome. Great service (I had the gift of great company as well). I did The Omelette of the day which was delightful and probably one of the most perfect omelets I've ever had and the tuna tartare which was wonderful. Overall a fantastic experience. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the Marina. My friend had the burger in brioche with extra crispy fries and the cauliflower bechamel. All delightful.“

“ABV is a good neighborhood bar! It was busy on a Saturday night, but my friend and I were still able to find a spot to sit. It gets pretty loud and it's dark inside, but it's still possible to have a conversation. Staff were very friendly & helpful and the drink I had was ok. The cocktail I had didn't blow me away, but it was a good drink to sip on while chatting. Parking here is nonexistent, either walk or get an Uber/Lyft/Waymo (which you should be doing anyway, don't drive under the influence!) This is a solid choice for having a drink and catching up with a friend in the neighborhood.“

“Love this place so much! Ina, Nick the whole fam and staff are the best! Know you are family and are taken care of when you walk in the doors of the korner store! The food is delicious! There’s a drink for everyone and for whatever mood you are in! Strong, sweet and even non alcoholic offerings! The music is great and they have great event nights - from kpop nights, game nights and even learn and practice your dj skills nights! It’s a great late night addition to the Excelsior and worth checkin out!
Kid-friendliness: Able to dine with kids before the evening crowd arrives“

“My friend and I went to brunch here avoiding the line at Lucho's and we were not disappointed. I had an eggplant sandwich which came with pickled veggies, and a side salad. My friend who trained as a chef had an omelette with a side of potatoes. The salad was generous. So were the potatoes. The sandwich was delicious and the omelette was well executed. (My chef friend said "it's good.") We sat in a booth while the place was empty on a Sunday and it was comfortable. I would definitely go back.
One recommendation: use an air fryer for the eggplant as it was a bit greasy. But it tasted great and I ate the whole thing.“

“Cute spot for a night cap. It’s a pretty small spot so expect some intimate vibes which was ideal for a date with my man. I got a mezcal margarita and he got the fade into you, we both were trying not to finish our drinks fast because of how delicious they were. It is a craft cocktail bar so expect to pay about $50+ for two drinks. It’s worth it though! I definitely recommend it though. Bartenders were very friendly too.“

“It was my first time trying raw marinated shrimp, and they were delicious. I was a little bit hesitant because I originally came for the crab, but they were out of season. Our waiter convinced me to try the shrimp, and he was honestly one of the reasons why I gave this place 5 stars. He was a total vibe. I will come back to this restaurant every time I’m in town.“

“We absolutely loved our dinner at Liholiho Yacht Club — everything from the vibe to the flavors was on point. We started with a couple of appetizers that set the tone right away: bold, fresh, and packed with unique flavor combinations. The pork ribs were a total standout — perfectly tender with just the right balance of sweet and savory, and the fried rice that came with them was rich, flavorful, and satisfying on its own.
But the real star of the night was dessert — the Baked Hawaii. Not only was it beautifully presented, but it was also hands down one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. A creative twist on a classic, and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt fun, vibrant, and effortlessly cool. We’ll absolutely be coming back next time we’re in SF! Highly recommend this spot — a true gem.“
