Really creative space and community! It’s an old establishment too. I remember walking it as a kiddo not knowing what it was and I know my whole family and I felt safe. I felt safe as an adult going in to hang out and socialize too. Thanks for being a beautiful and rather humble community throughout the years!
Oldest lesbian bar in the city with old school duve bar vibes! Great backyard on a beautiful day! Totally recommend if you are in Bernal Heights.

Wild Side West is a charming lesbian bar located in Bernal Heights that has been a local institution since 1962. The outdoor patio and lush garden are major attractions, providing a peaceful oasis with cozy seating areas perfect for different group sizes. Inside, the bar has a classic dive vibe with a decor full of beautiful nostalgia, including a TV dedicated to Xena or a funny b-movie with Bigfoot. The space upstairs also offers lots of charm.
