“Wish there was a 4.5 Star! Cuz it wasn't quite 5, but more than 4. Food was beautiful and well presented, atmosphere was classy..And service... I think was changing shifts so we got dropped a bit and waited around for quite a while to order.“

The 2AM Club Bar • $

“My boyfriend and I discovered this bar a few weeks back after I finished working nearby. We weren't quite ready to make the hour drive back home, so we found ourselves exploring the area and this is one of the places we decided to stop by. Glad we did! Steve was bartending and he was friendly, attentive, and fun to socialize with. We enjoyed the atmosphere and good pours (and prices) and noticed that they have outdoor seating in addition to all of the space inside. We aren't in this area much, but it would def be a spot we'd stop back in next time we are around - it was a great experience and a fun way to end our terrific afternoon.“

“Our waiter Jack made the meal, he was attentive, friendly, nice. He's a keeper. We'll be back there soon. The busboys had an attitude, no idea why. They might need a reminder that customers are there to enjoy a nice meal with friendly stuff.“

“Overall a great place for takeout or dine in. Love atmosphere and bar area though I tend to do takeout more than eat in. Service has always been good. Great beer selection including Pliny on tap. Great to get takeout on a nice day and got to the square. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is sometimes inconsistent food quality. I find some items are more consistent like the bahn miKid-friendliness: Kid bento boxes a great option.“

“Scoma's was one of the highlights of my summer last year. It was at Scoma's that I discovered that I am, in fact, a Lazy Man who requires Lazy Man's Cioppino. The restaurant is lovely, tucked away on a pier. The service was wonderful -- the waitress was really nice and seemed to love the food. The lazy man's cioppino was incredible! A warm, savory, thick tomato broth with perfectly cooked seafood. The mussels and clams were so juicy and succulent. The scallops (3) were so good, fat, and tender. The shrimp was yummy and not overcooked. The fish was well cooked -- not my favorite component, but still good. And of course, no need to get down with the crab shells since the crab meat has been pre-picked. I am a lazy man and this is my cioppino of choice. Definitely worth the price! The Rockefeller oysters were meh; too much cheese and spinach. I've had better broiled oysters (Acme in NOLA!). The oysters themselves were good, but it was hard to tell under the cheese sauce. We were seated next to a couple who had moved from the Bay to the East Coast, and cited Scoma's as a reason why they missed the Bay. I definitely want to return during future visits to SF!“

“Listed as one of the top tiki bars in the country and i see why! Love the speak easy approach and three floors of authentic tiki vibe. The drink selections are authentic and boundless. I will need to make many more trips to make my way through the incredible menu. The only thing better than the drinks was the staff. The bartenders were extremely friendly , attentive, and skillful. Despite the constant line out the door, they managed to create quality tiki drinks consistently. The vibe was great and everyone seemed to be loving the place as much as i was. I scratched off the fundamental mai tai and zombie. Can’t wait to go back for the painkiller before going with more exotic concoctions.“

“One of the best at what they do. A bar like this doesn't need to entertain you with food options. This is the before and after location based solely from their above-average drink selections. Getting lost in the jungle of a lounge they have and being prescribed the perfect libation by their talented bartenders is enough to keep you for a couple rounds. It's what a cocktail bar should be: cozy, inspiring, and delicious. I'll be back.“
