When I saw the portrait of Warren G Harding, it started me down a rabbit hole of political intrigue matched with well made cocktails and a great atmosphere, led by a friendly bar tender. Three cocktails in, and I finally see the one-ton urinal of historical proportions. This is worth a stop in SF.
The most welcoming bar in San Francisco. A rare harbour in a storm, Shanti is a fantastic host and made our night, and our week. Worth the walk and do take the time to visit.
Cozy and welcoming on the inside. Don't let the intimidating neon sign and barren street dissuade you.
