Simply an unexpected, awesome place to fall into for a Marin establishment in an off the radar location, but totally worth the effort to go there. It has a cavernous, lodge like vibe with a warm wood beamed ceiling and a variety of seating possibilities for however, and with whomever, you decide to bring along. Great place for draft/craft beer and watching a game, along with eats that don't disappoint with an engaging staff that add to your experience there. Definately worth checking...read full review

Tam Tavern is a rustic themed restaurant situated adjacent to a popular hotel and main thoroughfare, catering to both a diverse clientele and regular locals. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a sleepy but upbeat vibe. Friendly staff provide great service, and the bartenders are very kind and tentative. The back garden area is recommended for good weather.
The food is served hot and quickly. An actual, delicious Philly cheesesteak is available, and the fries are the best, perfectly salted with a soft interior but crispy crunchy outside. The cheeseburger is great, and the wings are good, though the bbq burger can be very messy. Other options include pizza, Calamari, pierogies, Fish & Chips, and amazing cocktails like The Diving Bell and Gold Rush. The beer is cold and delicious. The place also features billiards, darts, and shuffle board, with many big TVs for watching sports. A little kindness goes a long way here, with generous and kind-hearted gestures like an extra large portion of French fries for a hungry child.
