We had the most wonderful dinner tonight at Noren Izakaya!
Everything was fantastic from start to finish! From the service to the cocktails to the variety of food, to the dessert! Japanese yakitori and grilled street food and even sashimi! My new favorite! A must if you live or are visiting San Francisco!

Excellent izakaya with tasty yakitori, delectable karaage, and dangerously delicious pork belly. Definitely stop by!
The skewers are delicious. We especially loved the Berkshire pork belly. The sauce for the grilled octopus is tasty but the meat is under seasoned a bit. The Wagyu Gyutan Curry is a weekend special and is fantastic! So I definitely recommend getting that if you’re there on the weekend.
Also, we loved how the food here is the right amount of spicy: spicy enough to give the food a solid kick, but not so much that it’s overbearing.
