We had the most wonderful dinner tonight at Noren Izakaya!
Everything was fantastic from start to finish! From the service to the cocktails to the variety of food, to the dessert! Japanese yakitori and grilled street food and even sashimi! My new favorite! A must if you live or are visiting San Francisco!
Oh! And tonight is not the night to skip dessert! 😘

Due to food allergies, the staff was very accommodating and made an effort to ensure everything was safe for us, which we appreciated. However, there seemed to be some miscommunication among the staff regarding our order and what we had written down. A few items were missing, and while most were brought out once we mentioned the mix-up, some items still never arrived. There were also a few instances where items that needed to be kept separate ended up on the same plates.

Noren Izakaya is a wonderful spot for flavorful Japanese food in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The menu offers a great variety of dishes that are perfect for sharing, and everything tastes fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. The drinks complement the food nicely, and the friendly, attentive service makes the entire experience even better. It is an excellent place to settle in with friends, order several plates, and enjoy a leisurely meal.
