Kyopo BBQ is a restaurant that offers an amazing experience with incredibly fresh and delicious sashimi and super fresh, flavorful side dishes. Everything is perfect, and the main dishes are great, with even the side dishes so good that every single one is enjoyed. The restaurant used to be called ‘Gaboja’ and the food wasn’t the best for the prices, but now the prices are a lot more reasonable and the food is delicious. The prices vary a lot depending on what is ordered. The banchan (the side dishes before the main dishes) is delicious. New customers are highly recommended to try the Korean bbq, with many choices of meat on the menu, and the Kimchi Fried Rice is also recommended. Everything has been revamped and is very satisfying. It is one of the most authentic Korean BBQ spots in San Jose, with top-notch quality of the meat and pretty big portions. The pork jowl is a must, and the banchan is fresh and constantly refilled. Even during a busy dinner rush, the service is super attentive. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, and the value is amazing. The beef & pork combo has tasty meats and all the sides are great. The fried rice is spectacular. Service is A+++. The inside is cute and clean. Dodari and live octopus are really good.

We went there for dinner with my family, and everything was really delicious! The main dishes were great, but even the side dishes were so good that we enjoyed every single one of them. Everyone in my family loved the food, and we had such a great meal. We’ll definitely be back! 😊
