Very yummy. Only purchased 1/2 duck since it's just me eating. It could be more heavily seasoned, but I personally like it light. The price is fair in this area.
I'm usually at work during their entire operating hours, or can only come at closing, so it was nice to see the duck available today. No turnip cake though. :(
The ladies here are always get you squared away politely and promptly. That's good, because I was starving! Haha.

Their dimsum are the best. Roast duck less fats, siomai is number one
Take out only. The chicken and toast ducks are decent.

Based on several reviews, Tai Pan Dim Sum is a takeout-only spot in Fremont offering Chinese BBQ and dim sum. The restaurant has very kind and friendly staff and an at-home atmosphere. It is described as a fantastic spot for fresh dim sum, with some of the best “mom and pop” dim sum and Chinese BBQ in the bay. Everything comes in gigantic portions and is amazing, with huge portion sizes especially considering how low their prices are.
The roast duck, pork, charsiu pork, and soy chicken all have great flavor and texture. The roasted duck and chicken come with homemade sauces, especially the roasted duck sauce with nice meat fragrance. The ingredients have good quality without too much fat. The hot food options are good, with salt and pepper fish and chicken being a lot of people’s favorites. Their dim sum options are brought in from an outside source but do the job well for anyone looking for a quick dim sum fix. Specific meals mentioned include roast pork and duck BBQ with fried rice, shumai, crazy shrimp, and shrimp rice roll. The price may be a little bit high, but the food is very good.
