Many varieties of Chinese takeout foods. Prices have increased a bit but still reasonable. Service is friendly and good.

This is always our go to place before we walk around Lake Elizabeth. It is a take out place/asian fast food. There are no seating space or tables inside for dining in. So, we usually take our order to the nearby park. I would recommend their duck over rice & their sesame balls. They also have dim sum items you can purchase. They are reasonable in price.

Good price for the BBQ item, cheaper than most other places. The roast duck is very flavorful and crispy. BBQ pork is also good.

I love championing small businesses but man, this place has some work to do. Both times I've came here the staff is rude. For the portion size.. I think prices are fair but food is mediocre. It's definitely better than fast Chinese food like Panda but the food overall is okay. Don't think I'll be going back.

Came here for the first time and it was better than I expected. When you get inside it's a bit overwhelming due to numerous menus all over with different items and combinations as well as being surrounded by a large L shape counter of food to look at and order from. This spot is small and is full of boxes when you walk in. There is no seating inside or outside. It's an order and go kinda place. The woman helping us was very friendly and even gave us a fried fish piece. They gave us very large portions as well. I had the bbq pork and chow mein combo. You can pick between thick or thin noodle chow mein and they top it off with steamed cabbage. The noddles were pretty tasty but were a bit oily for my liking. The bbq pork had a nice flavor and I really appreciate the generous helping. It did have quite a bit of fat in between the pieces so I had to dissect most of it. I don't know if that's something they could really control though. The steamed buns with red bean paste was the shining star! In the past I haven't been a big fan of red bean paste but these buns have converted me. They were soft and bouncy with a good amount of red bean paste. It wasn't too sweet either. It complimented the bun nicely. Overall I would come back and try them again and will for sure order more steamed buns.

Rarely post bad reviews, but I’ve never encountered such rude staff. I walk in and stand behind the people there before me. Immediately, the lady behind the counter starts yelling (and I sincerely mean yelling) at me for not coming up to her and ordering. I haven’t even been inside for a minute nor is there any indication of where the line is supposed to be. I ask the total price of a few dim sum combined, and she rolls her eyes and groans as if calculating it and letting me know is beyond her job. I just walked out after that. Horrible experience.

Tai Pan BBQ has been on the list for a while and after 2.5 years of living in the Bay, I finally had a chance to try it out while looking at houses in the Fremont area. A few things to note, they did not have any seating indoors and they do have a $15 minimum for cards. With that out of the way, I decided to try their roast duck and roast pork with rice combo. This also comes with a generous heaping of veggies and homemade broth/sauce - all this for only $13.25! There are very few places in the Bay that can serve this kind of value any more! I also got an order of their turnip cake which had a nice toasty layer, and was well seasoned. Both the duck and pork were juicy as well! Perhaps not the best Canto BBQ I have had, but again, how can you beat this value?!

2/3 times I had the hot and sour soup. Twice it was amazing and probably some of the best I have had in the bay. Dim sum is also solid.

Been going there for decades for quick, tasty Chinese food. Overall, everything is good including the portions. I like the salt pepper fish, wide selection of popular dim sum and roast duck. Their party trays are reasonable too. My favorite is the bitter melon with beef... so good

Delicious dim sum for to-go only.As an old customer, I really hope they could raise the price. You feel like it’s year 2017 here.I recommend any steam cooked dim sum, two BBQ bento box ( upgrade to Fried rice noodles, trust me, worth it).And yes, they accept credit cards!

I come here often. Great roasted duck for a reasonable price. But you have to come early for the duck.

I come here at least a couple times a month. Usually for a couple dim sum items for snacks or lunch. Sometimes I pick up duck or roast pork for dinner. The line can get long, but the ladies move everyone along quickly. Favorite items: Baked pork bun Chive dumpling Fried chicken Har gow Shrimp/bell pepper Shrimp/eggplant Shumai Chicken feet I LOVE the sesame balls and at 4/$1.00 you can't go wrong! It's a little place, to go only. During Thanksgiving they usually offer cooked whole turkey for advance purchase. They sell frozen items as well. Good place to order party trays.
