JangTu Restaurant Reviews
It's my regular place for soondae gopchang guk whenever I'm back visiting. Food is great and I've been coming here for over 15 years. Service is always brisk and efficient.
Such a hidden gem of a spot in Sunnyvale! A unique food experience compared to the more popular Korean food (bbq & tofu stews).
I love the kimchi pork rib dish & definitely get the fried rice afterwards. That fried rice changed my life! Yummy yummy
The seafood pancake is also delicious.
It can get quite crowded/busy on Friday & Saturday. The aunties may take your order before you are seated and the food will come out promptly after being seated.

JangTu Restaurant offers a variety of delicious Korean dishes, including seafood pancake, spicy pork ribs, fried fish, sausage soup, jokbal, and haemul pajeon. The restaurant is especially known for its gamjatang, a pork backbone soup with potatoes, and the assorted organ dish, Modeum Soondae. Customers can also enjoy the gul bossam, a kimchi wrap with oysters and steamed pork, which delivers amazing flavors and textures. The atmosphere is cozy and reminiscent of a neighborhood restaurant in Seoul, and the service is friendly and attentive, although the restaurant can get busy. Prices are reasonable, making it a great choice for those looking for authentic Korean cuisine in the Bay Area. However, there have been mentions of cleanliness issues, such as a bad smell and dirty cups, which could affect the dining experience. The restaurant's kimchi fried rice is a must-try, and the black goat stew is a standout dish that customers have praised for its delicious flavor and home-like environment.
