The food was very good. They were very generous on the side dishes.I also love their barley tea. We ordered the seafood pancake, spicy pork ribs, and the fried fish. It come with rice too. Everything was almost half gone and that's how good it was. I recommend coming here.

We ordered the seafood pancake, sausage soup and jokbal (mild pork dish) for dinner. Jokbal was tasty but cold instead of being at room temperature and looked like its was pressed. We expected a dish with lots of fresh leafy vegetables to act as a wrap. Sausage soup was excellent. Ambiance was very 'local' with boxes stacked against the wall. I feel like I am in a neighborhood restaurant in Seoul. We'll be back to sample other interesting dishes.

BEST GUL BOSSAM EVER! This place is one of my fave Korean restaurants in the Bay Area, has a mom and pop shop feel to it, and the prices here are reasonable especially with this dang inflation. In this economy?! Yes in this economy I recommend coming here. We ordered several dishes: 1. Gul bossam. The star of the show! It's kimchi wrapped with oysters and steamed pork. The different flavors and textures when you take a bite is outta this world! The pork comes out in a heated pot, with the kimchi veggies and oysters. Let me tell you for about 30 dollars this is amazing. The oysters really make it all the more flavorful with the taste of the sea and these oysters taste pretty fresh. The pork is soft, the oysters melt in your mouth, and the kimchi adds such a nice crunch. 10/10 2. Soondae gopchang guk: This is a pork soup with sliced Korean sausage and intestines. The soup base itself is light but still flavorful and hearty. You can ask for some chili paste to elevate it and give it a bit of a spicy kick. The intestines were chewy and cut small enough for a whole bite. However, I thought the Korean sausages were alright. 3. Haemul pajeon: This is their seafood and veggie pancake. I thought this was one was alright because it felt like the batter for the pancake was too thick and was not as crispy. However, my boyfriend enjoyed that part so it's up to preference. This comes with a savory sauce that you dip it in. I liked how you can see the little baby octopus in there. The side dishes here are all amazing and tasty and go great with all the dishes we ordered. The service here is great, everyone is so nice and sweet. They also give you tea to wash everything down. You might have to wait a bit but it's because this place is quite busy and not the biggest inside. I would come here again for the bossam! Love love love!

It's delicious and the owner is very kind. This place sells really delicious sundae, giving great satisfaction to customers with its great taste and reasonable price. Sundae is fresh and savory, and stimulates your taste buds with its unique seasoning. In addition, the price is low and the portion is generous, so satisfaction is high. The staff here are very friendly and provide a warm welcome to create a pleasant dining atmosphere. In particular, we listen to our customers' opinions and earn their trust with quick and accurate service. It is one of the places I visit often as I am satisfied with the taste, price, and service. This restaurant is highly recommended to those who like sundae.

Old guard feast. The abundance and cornucopia of flavor and freshness overwhelms. You will mark your life according to your experience at this house. Service is impeccable and clean tidy space. The menu is diverse, seafood pancake being an enormous draw. Long line in a tiny spot. Worth all the time 100%. Happy Noshing! This review brought to you by Dogedollars.

Can't go wrong with this place. Everything was delicious. We ordered seafood pancake (the skin of the package was just right, crunch and not too oily,) Gam ja Tang and Gum bossam. The cherry on top: food comes in large portion and really good bang for the buck. Service was efficient and friendly. The only downside is it's so popular and the restaurant size is small, so there was a short wait even during weekday lunch.

Gopchang hotpot is good as a side dish with drinks. It is so popular that there is a waiting line on weekend evenings.

Came right at opening time on a Saturday and the place was packed. They seem to have a lot of regulars which says a lot about the quality of the food and service. Had soy bean paste soup, which hits the spot on a cold day. The Jang Tu noodles were good, but less flavorful than I expected and would prefer a firmer noodle texture. Service was great, the Ajimas were all very friendly!

Kind but chaotic service, I think they need more practice. Food is okay- husband got the pork bulgogi (which is spicy be default), and it had so much gochujang that it was so spicy and too bitter than it should be. I got the Sundae (or Soondae) assortment- which was what I wanted, just too food for me. Had to ask twice for water and twice for a to-go box. Also, I'm Korean and I grew up partially in Korea but there was a certain smell inside the restaurant that was particularly pungent. Probably wouldn't visit again, but I could see how it could be appealing for other reasons

I've eaten here a couple of times and it is my favorite korean comfort food place. Everything I've had here has been excellent and service is good. I have also ordered from here on doordash and food comes well packed and hot. I will definitely come back again.
